This was our second time at Linville Falls Campground and we had another wonderful stay! We were at primitive tent site #42 and it was perfect for the two of us and our dog, Sam. Beautiful site with nothing behind us but the woods! Marla and Kenny were friendly and helpful and the campground was pristine. Kenny delivered firewood to our site within five minutes of our arrival. The bathrooms - oh the fabulous bathrooms!! Super clean with plentiful handsoap, paper towels, and TP...and the water was nice and hot! Such a luxury after a long day of exploring and hiking. It doesn't get much better than that!! Thank you Linville Campground (Marla & Kenny) we can't wait to return! Side note: the Southern VintageTrailer Friends camping group was there during our stay with their super cute vintage campers, which they happily gave us "tours" of. Even with that large group there, the campground was quiet and did not feel crowded in the least; never a wait for the RR.

We really enjoyed this campground! We had site #2, which was perfect for our teardrop camper and our van. All sites were gravel with trash cans. Our site was mostly shaded and had a few steps down to our picnic table and fire pit. It was quite. Bathhouse was really nice with separate shower rooms as well as family rooms. Has a laundry room with a sink to wash dirty dishes. The office has a small store that came in handy when we needed milk, salt and pepper. Owner was very friendly. There’s a dog park and playground. Our site had electric/water and we were able to get 4 TV stations with a cheap antenna. We noticed they also had a tent camping area, cabins and RV carports. Location was great for Linville Falls, Boone, Blowing Rock, Grandfather Mtn.

Very well maintained campground and cabins. The staff are polite and efficient. Very quiet. This is our third year we have camped here and it is always great. Have already scheduled for next year. This facility is right off the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Beautiful campground. Quiet and peaceful. The laundry area and bathhouse was very nice and appeared to be quite new. The campground hosts were very helpful. Linville Falls was close by on the blue ridge parkway.

Spent 4 nights in Black Bear Cabin. We am we’re arriving after hours and Maria made sure we were aware of the check in procedures prior to our arrival. Thé campground and cabin was super clean. The owners, Kenny and Maria, take great care making sure everything is perfect and maintain the property and facilities very well! It also has a playground, dog run, laundry facilities, and store for needed supplies. Our cabin was tiny but perfect for 2 adults, 1 child & 2 small dogs. It had a fully furnished kitchen (with the necessary cooking items) and a small bathroom but the showers were great, we never ran out of hot water. It had AC however we just opened the windows. The campground was full and campers were respectful. The deck was private with a charcoal grill. There was a fire pit though we didn’t use it. We did laundry and though there were just two washers and two dryer, we never had an issue with them. (bring quarters or you can get change from the store) the location was excellent, near Linville Falls, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and other sites. We drove to Boone, Banner Elk, Blowing Rock, and Grandfather Bridge with ease. We even found a cute coffee place in nearby Crossnore called the Miracle Cafe. While it was off the beaten path, it was a perfect place to grab coffee and a pastry. Overall we had a great visit and loved staying here…and would visit again!
