Property's Favourite Review
My husband and I had visited this resort last month for a week. We really enjoyed the peaceful stay. We had a 2 bedroom unit , there was a full kitchen, washer and dryer , everything we needed. We like to cook meals in when we travel so we can do more fun stuff. This trip was

Beautiful updated property. However could use better lighting through out the property at night since it is located in a very wooded area. Great seafood restaurants everywhere....Staff is very friendly and accomandating.

It was too cold to utilize the pools, and we didn’t partake in any of the clubhouse activities so I can’t comment on the quality of that, but in terms of the room itself, it was pretty underwhelming. While spacious, the walls were paper thin. You could hear everything going on

How far from the beach is this resort?
Yes about a 5 minute drive. We personally think its safer to drive since it's a pretty busy road to cross. But you have a great parking lot right near the beach which was very convenient. We loved our stay.

The bigger slide has height restrictions. I can't remember the exact height. My 4 1/2 year old could not go down it even on my lap. There is a guard on the top. There is a slide for smaller children. You could call the resort directly and get the exact measurement.

side with loft has 2 bathrooms, one in the master room and one outside. as you exit the master bedroom the door to that other bathroom is across the hall from you. essentially both bathrooms are right next to each other, just one is only accessible via the bedroom the loft is just a bedroom basically with nothing else.

They do not have wifi in the rooms. It would be worth a call to see if anything is going to change by then. I walked up to either the check in or water park to use wifi.

We had an older unit in the back, had to share laundry with another unit. The water park is great if you have kids. The hot tub there had more pressure and was nicer than most we've ever seen at a resort. It's a convenient location (behind Walmart!) and isolated so you don't see/hear the noise of Kitty Hawk. About a mile from the beach access, which is a parking lot provided by the resort behind a restaurant. Then you drag your stuff through that block, across the street and a row of houses--but given that there's very little public parking around, you're glad to have it! No restrooms or shower anywhere there.

"Upper floors despite stairs may be quieter as main floor ground unit hear every step and stomp of all guests above!"
"Lots of steps for upper unit. If have trouble walking, gut a lower unit..."
"This was a time share. I have found that they have removed items of why we purchase these rooms. Repairs and updates are lacking."
"This resort is building more units, currently each unit has two levels. I prefer the second level."
"If you don't want someone over you you have to climb more stairs and ask for upper room."
