The Green Valley Inn in Western Belize was the middle of our 25th-anniversary trip stay. We had so many adventures touring Mayan ruins, adventuring through ATM (not for the meek!), exploring San Ignacio, and spending so many quality meals with Marcela and Eva. Marcela was able to set up wonderful guides to ATM and Caracol, and then she sat with us and gave wonderful suggestions on day trips to San Igancio, Xunantunich, Cahal Pech (surprisingly our favorite site!), chocolate making, and wonderful places to eat. We had a rental car and wanted to explore and were able to do so to our heart's content. Speaking of wonderful food, we had most of our meals with Marcela and Eva and wouldn't dare change it! Great food and great company! We stayed at three other places, but the Green Valley Inn was the best of them!…

Great location super close to the ATM caves. The private bungalows and tree house were in great condition with comfortable beds, in-suite refrigerator stocked with water and soda, in-room coffee makers, awesome outdoor showers. The pool was clean and had a great deck with both sun and shade. There is a grill and hammock area to hang out in and bird watch on the property. We ate dinner there every night and though a little pricey for the area, the pina coladas were AMAZINGGG!!! Marcela and her assistant Eva were so accomodating and fun to hang out with.

We absolutely loved our stay. The property is absolutely beautiful with a lovely pool, hammocks to lounge in, and lush greens. The treehouse was so fun to stay in and the outdoor shower is great. The best part was Marcela and Eva’s hospitality. Marcela was able to book an amazing ATM trip for us, help arrange transfers and gave great travel tips. The food was so yummy! We loved our breakfast and dinners. Don’t skip the pina coladas…. they are the best we’ve ever had! We didn’t have a car and had no problem taking the bus into San Ignacio. The best place!

Beautiful place with the best host. Marcela and Eva were wonderful and ready to help with anything we might want to do. They know all the best local independent guides. Our cabin was very comfortable made from beautiful wood. The food was great - we stayed 3 nights and took all our evening meals there.

Marcela and Green Valley was truly amazing. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Showering in the outdoor jungle shower was awesome. The cabins were tucked away from one another so each felt secluded. We ate every meal from the kitchen and every single meal was incredible. We had salad, which I normally shy away from traveling and it was so good I took the recipe home. We had our kids with us, three wild toddlers and they had a great time exploring the grounds, looking at the flowers and eating the yummy fresh fruit. We can't wait to come back.
