Why? Because I made a reservation for 3 nights, I then emailed them and said I did not need one of those nights and they cancelled my entire reservation! Really put us in a bad spot at the last minute trying to find new accommodations. No apology, - nothing.

Hi Francine.........You are correct, you should have called and spoke with someone. You booked your rooms on April 20th and on May 8th you sent an email stating you did not need your reservation for July 22nd. On May 9th we sent you an email confirmation cancelling your reservation. At that time you should have given us a call letting us know you did not want to cancel the entire reservation just one of the nights. We never heard from you again until 2 days before the day you were suppose to check in. I explained to you that you sent a email requesting to cancel the reservation, we cancelled the reservation over 2 month ago and did not hear anything from you regarding this reservation. When you did call me two days before you were to check in, I spent time with you on the phone trying to help you find a place to stay and I even offered to call a couple of place for you. But, instead of allowing me to help you, you hung up on me. I really am confused why you would write a bad review when a huge part of the miscommunication was on your part.

Stayed at this charming place filled with hospitality, lovely surroundings and terrific breakfasts. Could not have been nicer, Many restaurants nearby but the front porch was our favourite. The room was furnished beautifully and everything was spotless. And truly the owners really made you feel at home.

We stayed at the Inn while exploring Hendersonville and surrounding areas for possible relocation. The Inn was the highpoint of the trip for me. The rooms, interior and exterior were in excellent shape and everything was neat, tidy and clean. The owners, Tom & Kathy were simply awesome, very welcoming, warm and helpful. Each morning, breakfast was really really good (thanks to Kathy I am told). We had kiche one morning, french toast the next; the bacon was cooked perfectly. I could go on and on but to close, I am VERY picky about things like noise, cleanliness, mostly hate people, etc. And the Inn passed all my silly little tests. Not many places do. I cant recommend the Inn more highly. Scott

After having a problem with the original B & B we booked we went to the Charleston to see if they had any rooms available. The owners Tommy and Cathy were so gracious and showed us a few rooms to choose from. We chose a beautiful king room on the second floor (207). The Inn is decorated very nicely and felt homey. They offer a wine reception every day which we enjoyed. The owners even gave us a voucher for a wine tasting for a local winery, Saint Paul Mountain Vineyards which was nice. The first morning we had a continental breakfast which had a wide variety of items. The second morning we had French toast topped with ice cream, scrambled eggs and bacon which were cooked upon our arrival in the dining room. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Charleston and will definitely go back. Thanks to Tommy and Cathy for making us feel so welcome!

The Charleston Inn is the only place we stay when visiting Hendersonville!! This was our first post vaccination trip. We felt very comfortable staying here. As always, the inn and our room were very clean! Kathy & Tommy are the best hosts, and it was so nice to visit with them again. Their breakfast is always delicious ! I always come home with a new recipe for something they have made. This time it was their apple salad which was a breakfast starter. We can’t wait until our next visit!! Donna & Peter
