Spend the extra $40 and stay in a nice hotel with working A/C and Comfortable beds. You'll also enjoy a Morning staff that isn't psychotic. Another thing you will appreciate is an actual morning breakfast not toast with butter
This room cost us over $200+ for a one night stay and was a property that needs very much updating. The lighting was good. The vending machines was out of every soda and the only choice was bottled water. Also the internet was down the entire duration of our stay. Would not frequent this place again.
You get what you pay for! Okay we got a really good rate for a room for a long weekend at Cherokee. Well we should have known it was too good to be true!! The first night we were awakened by people playing music out in the parking lot well after midnight. We also fought with the fitted sheet on the bed all night that was much too small. We went out the next morning and hung out at the casino for several hours. When we returned, the room had not been cleaned. When they stopped by after 5 pm to offer to clean, we declined and just asked for some additional cups. We decided to head to the local Walmart to purchase a fitted sheet that would fit. That made the night much nicer, that is until the couple next door woke us up fighting at 3:30 am!! The next day, we left for breakfast and stayed out of the room for more than 8 hours and still no cleaning. My husband called the front desk and got no answer. So he walked down and was told that housekeeping was gone for the day! He got some towels. On his way back to the room, he advised folks who hadn’t yet checked in that they shouldn’t! I sent him back down with the 2 bags of trash we had accumulated and to get some toilet paper. He came back with 1 roll! He was told they would be back to clean the next morning. Again we left the room, this time closer to noon. No one had been by yet to clean. We returned about 4 hours later. STILL no cleaning. If you’re keeping score, this is now 3 days with no room housekeeping services. My husband went back to the desk and was told we had the “do not disturb” sign up (we did not) and the front desk attendant has lots of attitude! We left on day 4, never to return! Next time we’ll pay more down the road! Besides the poor service, they advertise an outdoor pool and free breakfast. Well the pool is covered and you can’t even go into the lobby. You have to do business with someone through a window!…
The hotel is directly across from the Casino. The room was sparse but clean. It wasn't anything special but worked for a night. It is a little run down and the AC was loud and didn't cool the room as much I would have liked.
This property is a fraud. But I made my reservation the pool was to be open with beautiful pictures on the website of the pool and people having fun. Also supposed to have a hot breakfast waffles and eggs and whatnot. Neither of those are a reality. I will never stay at a Days in again this is my fourth and final effort to give them an opportunity to shine this property is a fraud
