Great location, Right down the block from Chicken Run Restaurant. Owners were very nice and the room was clean, Shower is a bit small but again clean. Plenty of towels and soaps. Only thing is the rug should be replaced and the rooms carry alot of moisture and the rug felt damp.

Places like that are the reason I love staying in small motels.. owners are lovely, rooms are clean with very comfy beds. In the morning you can get your coffee and small breakfast in the kitchen room, which has also fire burning stove for those cold winter mornings.. and they have plenty of old school board game.. you are close to all local restaurants and shops. If you need a place to stay when you in Wyndham..this is it

Cave mountain motel exceeded my expectations! I was looking for the past few days to find a place to stay for an overnight snowboarding trip and I’m more than glad that we found this place. The rooms are spotless and breakfast is provided in the morning. Very close to windham mountain about a 3 minute drive. Highly recommend staying here to anyone!

The Cave Mountain Motel is a quaint older stay over. The decor is old but very clean. This motel was very well suited for a ski trip in that the majority of your day is at the mountain and restaurants. The motel is very close to the town of Windham. The owners were lovely people and were ready with a hot cup of coffee and light breakfast when we woke up. Bring shampoo and conditioner, it is not supplied.

My first time in Catskills and I loved this motel for the price and location. The owners are very welcoming and helpful. Beds comfy and a close drive to restaurants in the area. Theres no breakfast or cleaning during covid but I was expecting that. I will be back if I’m ever in the area again

This is as good as it gets for what it is. A little 8 room motel. The rooms are dated, but immaculate. Cable excellent. The breakfast filling. When I said we had to be on the road before 7:00 a.m. the owner set it up early. Would stay here again.

The motel is well maintained, inside & out. Beautiful view of Cave Mountain. Close by to Windham & Hunter high peaks. Alot of really good local restaurants as well. Former Long Islanders, Jean & Art fell in love with the Catskills. It shows within their place. My wife is a stickler for clean & tastefully decorated places. She loved the owners & their place. Good people. We've family in Western NY. We've found a great mid-state point to meet at. We'll be regulars.

Long story short this was one of the only hotels that had availability on short notice. I was skeptical, I do like high-class hotels but figured I’d give it a shot since me and my brother would only be sleeping there and leaving early in the morning to go zip lining. Upon arrival we were welcomed by the owners who were sitting on the front porch. The office does have cats, so if your allergic stay away. I for get there names but they were very nice and welcoming. The room did smell a little musty but you go use to it. The beds were comfortable and the room it’s self it out dated but kept clean . The bathroom was clean and worked well. If your looking for a quiet warm welcoming place tot rest your head for a reasonable price this is it! The continental breakfast was yoghurt cereal, coffee milk, the usual. But I will def return!

This motel worked fine for proximity to Hunter Mountain, although despite the owners claiming it was 15 minutes away, turned out to be 30 minutes at least, (15 miles maybe but they must either exaggerate or drive like race car drivers!) The breakfast was very basic, typical continental and available even if you slept in. The amenities were also basic and clean. Shower only but no tub. Wifi worked fine but very little cell service. Beds were comfortable. Nice views and nicely kept grounds.
