When we were booking a hotel for a relative’s graduation, The Mosey was the same point value as the Hampton Inn down the street. Knowing this was once a Wyndham Garden, we decided to give it a try.

The hotel looks very upscale from the exterior and lobby. While it shares a building with apartments, you would barely know it (if not for gated upper level parking and locked doors near the elevator requiring code access). The room was in great condition and very comfortable. The only complaint with the room was the AC shutting off in the middle of the night due to the motion sensor - sitting up in bed and waving normally solved the issue but it was an annoyance.

Everyone from the front desk staff to housekeeping was extremely friendly. We felt welcomed and at home.

Breakfast was okay. Things were a bit pricey and nothing to write home about, but at least you got a decent amount of food. Unfortunately, for elite members with the $15 food credit, there is really only one item (a breakfast sandwich) that will fall within the credit by the time you add coffee and tax. There really should be more options that the credit can cover.

Overall, we would return again but we would probably save the food credit for the bar and have breakfast at one of the places down the street.

For a family visit to Buffalo, we chose The Mosey since we needed a lot of space to work from during the week. This two room suite was very large and comfortable to work and relax, with loads of space for luggage. The staff at the hotel were all extremely friendly and genuinely helpful and welcoming. Anything needed to make our stay pleasant and productive was taken care of. That was truly appreciated and made our choice of hotel a good one. We were highly impressed!

There are a few design flaws in the room that are worth noting, The bedroom faces Main Street so you do hear some traffic noise, but that isn't too bad. However the windows do not open so you have to rely on the thermostat climate control. Unfortunately you have to select either Cool or Heat mode in addition to a set temperature. So during a Fall or Spring visit it is tricky to decide which to choose to simply get cool fresh air into the room. In addition there is no window in the separate living room, though plenty of lamps, but it can get stuffy. The kitchen has no dishwasher - we had to ask for dish washing soap as none was included. Finally the high dining table had chairs that were a bit too low to reach. Hopefully this feedback will lead to improvements in this otherwise well-designed suite.

As for positives the bed was certainly very comfortable with plenty of closet space and drawers to put away your clothing. TV in both rooms. There was even a sound machine to play relaxing sounds for sleeping. The work desk included two nesting tables with fast and reliable WiFi. An in-room safe is included and essential in my opinion though not common in the USA. Parking was free in an attached covered lot which was safe. The town of Williamsville is in walking distance with options to shop and eat out. For eating in there were lots of pots and pans or you can enjoy a drink in the nice lobby bar.

So overall highly recommended for an extended stay in a suite with tons of room to call home for a week. It was nice to be staying in the village of Williamsville. In addition to the large and luxurious room and ideal location, the staff make the hotel special and worth booking. Thanks!

I chose this hotel looking for a quick night away and it did not disappoint! The ladies at check in and the hostess who handled our room service order were very pleasant.

We booked the Glen King room and it was overwhelming! Much nicer than I expected, the hotel used to be a Wingate so I wasn’t sure if the room sizes and design would be up to par with other Tapestry hotels. The rolling work station area was perfect for our room service order and the double sized jetted tub felt so luxurious.

We upgraded the $30 and received a nice bottle of champagne and box of chocolates. The restaurant located within the hotel provided excellent quality food for what I thought was a very fair price.

We were all in at about $250 for the room, upgraded amenity and dinner for two! Not bad at all. Very consistent with other experiences I’ve had at Tapestry by Hilton in the past, it feels upscale and unique without breaking the bank. Additionally, they provide free covered parking close to the hotel, a huge bonus as it was a very snowy night when we stayed.

I will absolutely be returning in the future.

Stay was wonderful. The staff was super helpful with me being from out of town. Room was cold the first two nights, called down and they very kindly switched me to vip so I could adjust my own heat. Pool and hot tub area was very nice.

We stayed here one night, wish we had stayed more nights. Hotel is quiet in spite of being just a few mins off thruway. We couldn’t hear any road noise. There is limited covered parking which is nice anytime of year. Lots of restaurants close by. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, check in was easy and staff were friendly. If you opt for the included breakfast for $25 (for 2 people) be aware you get two $15 vouchers for the on-site Hooked restaurant. 2 full breakfasts plus coffee/tea or juice will mean you will be still be paying $15-20 out of your pocket. That’s not too bad, just could have been made clearer when booking it. The breakfast was quite good. It’s a lot to say that we would definitely stay here again, most places we have stayed at recently have slid in cleanliness and service using COVID as an excuse. This hotel is the first one in a long while that I truly would stay at again without hesitation. It’s worth the extra money for a clean, and quiet place to stay.

My husband was raised in Williamsville/Amherst and we frequently return back to visit family and friends and this was one of those trips.

We checked into one of the Glen rooms for two nights and was quite pleased with the location and size of the room. The jacuzzi in the bathroom was definitely large enough for two adults. Upon using the jacuzzi it was very apparent it had not been cleaned properly as there was a ring of scum all the way around the jacuzzi tub. We did not run the jets as we thought to ourselves if the jacuzzi has not been properly cleaned then who knows what will come out of the jets.

The first night (NYE) about halfway through our stay the toilet broke. My husband is handy and attempted to fix the chain in the back of the toilet that allows the water to flow but he couldn't fix it. We left early in the morning and told the woman at the front desk that we had an issue and asked if someone could please fix it prior to our arrival later in the day. We arrived approximately 5-6 hours later and went to use the toilet and it was still broken. I politely called the front desk and advised we had stopped by the front desk in the morning and explained about our toilet issue. It was the same front desk attendant that my husband spoke to on our way out (brown hair) and she arrogantly advised me that "she had sent someone up there and they had fixed it." I assured her it had not been fixed and we are unable to use the toilet. She advised rudely that "they don't have a maintenance department and whomever she sent up there assured her it had been fixed." I again advised the issue was not resolved. She then offered to give us a new room which we didn't have a choice but to move.

The thing that struck us most about this entire incident as she never ever once said "I am so sorry for the inconvenience." We get it stuff happens that is completely out of anyone's control. I've worked in the industry for many years and at the end of the day all people really want is for you to acknowledge there's an issue, figure out how it is going to get fixed, and make them feel like they mattered. In total we paid over $550.00 for two nights. Upon checking in to our new room (424) there was a stain that I had to wipe off on the counter underneath the tv. The pool was unavailable for use and was green. When we arrived back to our floor in the early morning hours on NYE there was a tile from the ceiling that had fallen in the hallway and dust and grime on the floor. I didn't notice until I opened the curtains that a cup filled with water had been left behind that curtains.

All in all we have stayed at the Reikert House multiple times and have never had issues like this and where we will probably stay from now on. If management reads this I hope the woman that came up to our room and just handed us the keys with an attitude receives some extra customer service training. I would not recommend this hotel for the simple fact that customer service is lacking.

Stayed here for 2 nights on business and was pleased with all.

During this cold snowy January it was nice to have covered parking (complimentary) and walkway to the lobby. Service is excellent.

Rooms are nice, comfortable, clean. Not a fan of the heating/ac units at the window (that is not typical in better properties) but that is the only demerit.

The restaurant Hooked is fabulous and ate there both nights. Great food and happy hour prices. The Lobster Roll and Haddock were top notch.

There is complimentary coffee in the AM.

Recommend both the Mosey and Hooked.

We booked a king suite for $500 a night for a couple of nights. We checked in around 7.30 pm and came back to sleep around 11 pm. We noticed that the sheets were dirty and the pull out couch had a pair of dirty socks from someone previous stay. We informed the front desk and they apologized and sent up a new set of sheets and said there was not housekeeping at that hour. The next morning I went down and explained the entire situation to the front desk and at about 11.45 am before leaving requested if the room could be cleaned and sheets could be changed. The lady at the front desk apologized for the experience and again apologized and assured me that it would be taken care off, I came back to the hotel around 6.45 pm that evening to see NOTHING was done. Again the front desk lady now has sent a fresh sheets as no housekeeping so “change it yourself” and bathroom is filthy dirty !!! This is the service they are charging you for $500/night. If the Hilton US management is reading this review, experiences like this damage the brand reputation. Spider webs on the windows , dirty sheets, filthy bathroom. I would not suggest anyone to stay in this hotel!!!!

Although my friends and I only stayed overnight (we were in Buffalo for a concert at Kleinhans Music Hall), our experience at The Mosey Hotel was a positive one.

The hotel was easy to find (it doesn't look like a hotel from the outside) and had free underground parking. The lobby is nicely laid out and was spotless upon entry. Our room was very clean and spacious and had a large flat screen TV, microwave, and Keurig coffee machine in it. Four adults travelled together and had more than enough room to move around without getting in each other's way.

I loved the shower and the amenities that were available for us to use: two shower heads and large bottles of shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and body lotion.

This was my first stay at The Mosey Hotel, but it definitely won't be my last!

The Mosey Buffalo Williamsville, Tapestry Collection by Hilton is located on busy Route 5 in suburban Williamsville, New York with quick access to Interstates 90 and 290, Daemen College, and Buffalo International Airport. Staff are pleasant and knowledgeable. Hotel location also features on-site spa, businesses, and residential space. Lobby, corridors, restaurant, fitness center, and guest rooms were clean and equipment functional. Hotel indoor swimming pool appeared to be clean (see attached pic) and I did not utilize during my stay. Fitness center featured modern and functional equipment. Limited, shared outdoor and garage parking areas available. Several take-out and chain restaurants are in close proximity of hotel though all may not be within walking distance as hotel is located on busy Route 5. Vehicle traffic noise is average but did not affect sleep quality. Overall, pleasant experience. I would consider returning to this hotel when visiting the Williamsville and Snyder area in the future.

In all honesty, I did not notice. But, because it is a business located in NY state, I would believe they would legally have to have a given number of handicapped spaces.
