We’ve just got home from 9 days in the amazing Odyssey for our honeymoon. We’ve been a fair few times now but every time it gets better and better. The Odyssey team are beyond fantastic… there are no words to fully describe how warm, kind and wonderful they are. It’s like coming back to family! The food, atmosphere, rooms, cocktails, pool, views…(the list goes on and on) are all superb. It really is a heaven on Earth. Thank you so much to everyone who made our trip so special. See you again soon! Katie and Ben

We return to this wonderful hotel every year and this year seemed even more special - if that's possible. Catherine, Gerry, Aristos and Natalie feel like family now and Marios was a great addition to the team this year. Thank you for making our much needed holiday so special. Agia Efimia is our favourite place on the island and has great tavernas, bars, small supermarkets and shops. Small, friendly and completely safe and the perfect base to easily reach all parts of the island to experience beautiful beaches and breathtaking scenery. The rooms are large and all with gorgeous sea views and the beds are super comfy. Delicious food and all served by Gerry and his team so professionally and always with a smile. Thank you once again Odyssey, we love you all and cannot wait to see you again in 2022.

What can I say that hasn’t already been said! Our first time to Kefalonia, but it certainly won’t be our last and we will undoubtedly stay here on our next visit. A lovely hotel with a lovely ‘team’ of people working there..accommodating, friendly and professional. The hotel is immaculately clean throughout, inside and out. The rooms all have stunning views and are large and spacious with plenty of storage, Lovely food with some gorgeous desserts! Perfectly located, a short walk takes you into Agia Effimia village, which has a small number of restaurants/bars. We would highly recommend this delightful hotel.

I really can't understand why this is a 4* ranking. From the solo gardener that tends to the grounds, the man cleaning the toilets, the pot washers, all the behind workers and of course the front of house staff, this hotel really stands out and should be 5*. The little things like white, fluffy towels and bathrobes, large comfortable beds, daily pool towels and the warmth and professionalism of the staff make this hotel outstanding. Whilst we were there, the majority of other travellers were English and in the 40+ age group which suited us and created an air of peace and tranquility, the amazing view just added to the serenity and beauty. Although the hotel provides ramps, if you are disabled you may find it difficult as the two access points are little tricky.(one being flights of steps, the other, is quite a steep incline)However, if you are a driver, you will overcome these problems. We found the wine list to be competitively priced and we worked our way through it! The food was good, the hotel has a Michelin chef which you may think equals small portions,It doesn't! The food sizes were very generous! The hotel is adults only which just adds to the attraction and there was always enough sunbeds for everyone. Go to this hotel if you want to be treated as a human being and not just a room number, small hotels offer so much more than the bigger hotels and enjoy the warmth and hospitality of Odyssey Hotel.

Been to Greece on at least a dozen occasions staying at 4/5 star accommodation on every occasion and this is by far the best hotel we have stayed at in terms of quality and attention to detail. Staff are so warm and friendly it is like getting the 'red carpet treatment' from start to finish. Food is of a very high standard and very good quality. Not a criticism but just a suggestion they could do wit having a couple of traditional Greek dishes on the main menu such as Kleftiko or Stifado. Having said that the food on the menu is a la carte and as stated cooked to perfection. Be assured you wont be disappointed and Catherine who runs the hotel is one of the warmest persons you will meet and so hospitable and accommodating meeting the needs of all your requests thus making sure you have the best stay possible. We don't normally stay at any hotel for more than 2 years running but will be going back for the third year running next September all being well and truly an Adults hotel that meets the needs of all looking for a relaxing and tranquil time. Thankyou Catherine, Natalie, Aristos and the rest of your fantastic team for once again making our stay so enjoyable. Truly a magic time ! Regards Kevin & Jenny
