If you want to relax and enjoy a great view of Seneca Lake, and be near more vineyards and wineries than you ever imagined, and have dinner at a quiet and excellent restaurant, this is the place for you. Book ahead, and get a cabin with a lake view. Word is that the "motel" rooms will be revamped this winter though, and be a great place to sit on a balcony. Drive 5 minutes to walk the gorge at Watkins. See more waterfalls than you can count. And at night, sit around the fire pit and enjoy a coffee or glass of wine.

I just returned from an amazing trip to Watkins Glen NY. We stayed 2 nights at this lovely resort which I would highly recommend. It is very conveniently located to wonderful wineries, points of interest and delicious restaurants. The owners were very pleasant and I fell in love with their "mascot", Rocky...a beautiful chocolate lab who escorted us on a lovely walk of the resort. We had breakfast at the Bistro which was very yummy. A delicious Wafflini that hit the spot! We stayed in one of the budget rooms and it served the purpose. My only suggestion would be to get better lighting in the bathroom and/or bedroom. We found it difficult to get ready (doing hair/makeup) with poor lighting. But with that said...its the only slightly negative thing to say!! IT WAS AWESOME! I can't wait to plan another trip and I will definitely be staying here! We met such friendly guests there and one couple invited us to see their cabin. It was amazing and I want to stay in one of those on my next trip.

great location, spectacular view, delicious food. then oops! we waited 45 minutes for dinners (suggest ordering burgers or sandwich), coffee at the self-service bar was barely warm, the key lime pie was in fact a tart. again, the food, when it finally arrived, was delicious.

We loved staying in the lake view cabins at the resort & picking up meals from the restaurant! Fire pit is lit at night around a lot of Adirondack chairs allowing you to meet other guests. The cabins are modern & yet so homey, the patios great for looking out over the water as the sun rises and falls each day. Private parking for each cabin and some spots in the front for the restaurant. We wish we had know how great this place was & we would have stayed longer. And our kids loved the owners dog Rocky that would wander the property and visit!

We have stayed in Creekside cabin. Very specious and stylish! It was equipped with kitchen, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, dishes, pots, pens, utensils, so we cooked our own breakfast with a spectacular view from the cabin. TV in every room. Resort has amazing hidden trails right on their grounds, which we explored in the mornings, don't miss them! People, that work in the resort, are so friendly and helpful. It is dog friendly and even has pet parking right in front of office. So cool. Complimentary coffee and tea, lodge with games, firepit every day , also with the view , doesn't hurt. Big shout out to owners and people, who work hard here, for making the stay amazing! No surprise you have to book accommodations really in advance
