everything about the place was amazing, the staff so friendly, the food and the view is just out of this world. would definitely come back and most definitely recommend the place to others as well. thanks team alpine.
Myself and my girlfriend have stayed over for the past few days. I have been a staff member for 2 years over 2016 to 2018 and boy oh boy finally coming back to the resort (this time for holiday😁) was honestly nothing but AMAZING. The staff went out of their way as always, the service was spectacular, felt as if I were at home, it was such a pleasant and heartwarming stay from the time we got to the gate, security was so joyful and excited for us to be there, check-in was so efficient, room was perfect with no issues whatsoever, food served was absolutely divine. Housekeeping did such a great job with refreshing the rooms... It was such a fantastic holiday to be honest, I thank everyone so much from the bottom of my heart for this wonderful experience, you guys have such an amazing team led by such amazing management, I could never be more grateful for experiencing life at Alpine again, I cannot wait to return again in the near future, I love you guys!!!!!! 😁😁😁…
It was my 2nd visit to the resort. The place has really been upgraded. The night vibe at the Village Market is great, the staff are absolutely friendly and helpful throughout your stay. The place is clean, comfortable, upmarket, a great get away to relax and enjoy nature. The food at the restaurant is awesome and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend Alpine Heath for your next holiday!
We just enjoyed a lovely family vacation and stayed in one of the 3 bedroom chalets. The living area was smaller than expected but it was comfortable enough for a family of 4. The rooms were clean and the bedding and towels were of good quality adding that luxurious touch to our stay. The food at the restaurant was very good with some nice vegetarian options. The village supermarket has the basic goods should you run out of anything like milk or eggs. There were enough activities to enjoy with the kids in the resort so we didn't need to leave it for the duration of our stay. Finally the little bar is a nice spot to just chill and enjoy some drinks at the end of the day. A special mention of Cebo the barman who is skilled at putting together a nice variety of cocktails. An overall enjoyable stay.…
It was our first time staying at this beautiful property. The chalets are clean and upmarket. The grounds are always neat and tidy. Staff are very friendly and always willing to assist if needed. The horse riding was awsome. The hiking trails are a must to do. A Great Family resort
Had to proof every morning that we paid for breakfast with our booking, they did not fix their records. Did not appreciate this, being told we had breakfast and did not pay for it. Bed in main bedroom was terrible, not good sleep, body ache every morning.
Experience – Was amazing, we spent 4 days at the resort and from the reception to the housekeeping staff, everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Location – The roads getting to the resort did have a few potholes so you had to drive with caution but that is because of the heavy rains the area had in the previous weeks. Rooms – All clean and tidy, Wifi signal could be a bit better but embraced it because the lovely views made up for it. There were a lot of fruit flies in the kitchen area but I think that’s because we stayed closer to the dam/river. There was a lot of standing water around the chalets which made it house more bugs etc. Housekeeping was great, every morning they came through and cleaned the chalet. Amenities – The best part, on the first night they hosted a bring and braai with live music, we were allowed to take our burgers and chips and they prepared it all for us. The next day we all went for a hike which led to a waterfall so the views was great. The pool was sparkling clean and everything else was amazing. I would of liked the putt putt area to be open but it was under renovation. Overall I cannot thank the staff for allowing us to have such an amazing trip and create so many memories with our family from Durban. The Alpine staff ensured we were always taken care off.…
I stayed there for 2 nights, the room was spacious, very clean, and the location is so convenient and safe especially if you love to move around in the evening, abanywana abawuvali umlomo soze bakhohlwa, games yooooo bezikhala bengafuni nokulala haybo ukube bekuya ngabo bekuyoba 24hours ha ha ha. The wifi was really good, the ladies at the reception were kind and very friendly, staff in general were very accommodating and caring to my concerns, all of them collectively ensured that my stay was nothing short of comfortable. I would definitely recommend it to anyone and my friends and colleagues are coming soon
a beautiful, relaxing outdoor experience, way overpriced. the accommodation needs attention, very poor lighting, shower in ensuite needs attention, unit for the price does not have a single up to date appliance, not even a cordless kettle, outdated microwave and no dishwasher/washing machine/dryer, the fridge also problematic old, froze all the veg in the fridge, nothing that would make your stay pleasant if staying for a long period. Leave alone the accommodation being over priced, activities are just the same. Over R25 000 for 3 units.
We had so much fun with the family i would like to come back here again God willing and stay much longer it was an amazing experience i think this place is also suitable for hosting any event like parties weddings training for companies
