We went to Little Rock Resort for a nice ending of our vacation. We drove on a terrible road on the way there, full of potholes. Very tired and exhausted we got to the resort. The children wanted to swim and enjoy the last 2 days of their holiday. Sadly when we arrived there, the swimming pool was green. It is supposed to be a resort? When we wanted to enter our chalet, the first spider was lying at the front door. The bathroom had two big spiders and my daughter first needed her dad's assistance before she could use the bathroom. There were spiderwebs in the chalet as well as other spiders. In the living room, the dust was lying thick on the table, the carpet had dirt on it, as well as pieces of broken sweets. There were leaves and dust on the main bedroom's bed. The children's bedrooms were dark, shady and had old linen. My thoughts were, how many spiders and other things will walk over my children while they are sleeping. Therefore it was not possible for us to stay at such a filthy place. We were at little Rock for about 10-15 minutes, then we handed the key in and left. We got a note from booking.com that we didn't pitch! It was a first for us. What we saw on the photo's was not what we got. We wish it was different. One positive thing is, that they paid one nights fee back to us. We lost only one nights fee, because of the dirty place.…

Friendly reception with Covid 19 protocol in place. Clean well equipped little rondavel was allocated to us, 1 double bed downstairs and two single beds in the loft room. Kitchen had all the necessary cookware and kitchen stuff to prepare your own meal. Braai facility on the front stoep. Clean bedding and shower facilities were provided.

Hi Guys, I would stay again as there was lots to do for my kids. I think it will be even better in summer. Was pretty cold and not sure the heaters where enough. Being thatch, place felt quite dusty... But not sure if that is a battle that can be won. Maintenance can be improved. (Had nails sticking out of the decking barriers) Overall, I was happy with the place but I feel some improvements can be made.

A small, private and tranquil jewel hidden in a peaceful cliff with picture-beautiful fauna & flora, and the relaxation required for the full leisure time spending of old down to the young. The food at the resort restaurant is as good as that of the city restaurants but it is the unique pizzas that take the grand prize nationally. Milkshakes to die for if you are an addict like my whole family. Violet is the star serving lady.

A basic caravan park with self catering chalets with a restaurant and swimming pool on the premises. A few friendly animals walk around in the park. A great place with a play park to keep the kids busy. Friendly staff and clean ablutions. Except for the family rooms, the ablutions needs a little bit of upgrading.

Fairly basic but pleasant resort. Clean and maintained. No lights at camp sites and plug points a little far for practical purposes. Friendly owners and an assortment of friendly animals wandering around - great for kids.

We stayed at little Rock the 20th of July. We were 4 friends and requested single beds. We were allocated house number 9 that has space for 6 people. 2 in downstairs bedroom and 4 in the upstairs loft. It was perfect for our requirements. Clean. Enough hot water. Well enough equipped from a self catering point of view. The chalets are starting to show their age a bit. Was clean and comfortable. Very nice Bar/Restaurant. They had a fire going when we arrived.Nice atmosphere. Booking was painless.

Went here just for the restaurant. It was a cold May night and we had just arrived in Ladybrand. Were recommended to go here as one of three choices. We were glad to choose this place as the waitresses were very hospitable and the food was great, thanks Lizzy for all you help and explanations. We had a Cheese fondue to start which was delicious. I had the Ribs (so huge that I couldn't finish it) and my wife had the Chicken Pan Pie which was yummy. How do I know? Because I tried some as well. As it was a clod night they had the fire going on both side of the restaurant i.e. the bar/smoking side and the non-smoking side. I must admit that the prices were very reasonable. A Must try.
