Given the difficulties that CV19 brings to us, we felt safe from the start. Team Northolme has clearly taken steps to keep spoiling their visitors.
From the moment you enter you have the impression of being in another world. Staff are extremely friendly and professional. Dinner was served in our room, we chose the room service option to relax further in our room and also because our son was a bit tired after the beach & pool day "it was perfect & tasty". Breakfast was served a la carte, breakfast team is exceptionally friendly and attentive to detail.
The operations manager Duncan also checked that everything was running smoothly and asked us if there were any comments. Very difficult question, I had to think deeply and could only answer positively that everything was perfectly fine.
The room was comfortable, bed sheets smelled fresh and felt soft. we slept very well with the soft tones of the sea in the background.
Hilton Northolme, thank you very much for this exceptional experience, we will definitely be back.

We went to Seychelles to get our marriage and wedding done there, as it was our dream honeymoon destination.
We were so lucky that we stayed at Hilton Northolme in Mahe island.
We booked a grand ocean view villa for 10 days.
Starting from the online contact with guest relations, Ms. Shania was very helpful and guide me.
Upon our arrival the front desk explained everything to us and we had a complimentary breakfast. The breakfast was very nice and the view is just how you want to start your day.
Afterwards we were escorted to the villa and it was a breathtaking moment to see the marvels view. Our housekeeper Mr. Thomas was looking after our villa on a daily basis and replenishing our amenities every day, also leaving nice messages on our bed by making nice decorations and using amazing scented detergent.
We chose to have most of our meals from room service as we liked to be more relaxed in our villa and enjoy the view and the private swimming pool.
Mr. Gorbachev from the room service has done a great job with menu recommendations, choices of beverages and prepared for us a special table for our dinner at the restaurant, he took care of our sunset floating tray as well and presented it nicely.
From the reception Ms. Katja, Mr. Jonathan and Mr. Amir were helping us all the time with any information or questions, recommended us places to see and visit, arranging our pickups and been always friendly and approachable. They made us feel like home.
One of the highlights of our stay was the early served breakfast overlooking the amazing ocean view. Our hostesses Ms. Nadia, Ms. Marie Michelle and Mr. Rakesh were always very happy to serve us and helping us with choices from the menu.
As we all know that hospitality changed a lot since COVID-19 started but we have to admit, that the staff at Hilton maintained the standards and hygiene.
We were so impressed by the maintenance team, who are working around the clock.
One evening we had an issue with our whirlpool, Mr. Carl from the maintenance was there immediately and solved the issue quickly without disturbing our evening and got everything done. Then we enjoyed our whirlpool until the last day of our stay.
We would like to thank all the staff at Hilton Northolme Seychelles, who made our honeymoon remarkable and we believe, we will always come back to the paradise of Seychelles.

Sadly Hilton as a brand lacks consistency which is a shame.

We spent 5 nights in a sunset villa. Our welcome was not so great as we were dropped off at the reception lounge and no one was there, we waited and waited until finally my husband picked up the landline and called for someone to check us in. A guy names Amr came in and said ‘give me your passports’, I think the shock in my eyes prompted him to think for a minute that he should step back and greet us first! We came from Hilton La Briz and we used the Hilton ferry with transfer so I do not understand how they did not expect our arrival.

Checked in and entered our room to the sound of the Power puff girls on full blast on the TV which was weird and jarring. The room smelt damp but this was later fixed. One thing which was super annoying was if the upstairs guest used the bathroom facilities we could hear the pipes loudly very close to the wall next to the bed. Our bad luck that they needed the facilities at 3 and 5am! On our last night at around 1am I heard someone playing with what sounded like a basketball, not sure if the night watchmen got bored but it woke me up and I’m sure others too.

The food is incredible at this property, real fine dining and a very passionate French chef with high standards for this menu and food quality. The Chef, Amanda the FnB manager and restaurant and bar staff are a real asset. The gin bar with viewing deck is beautiful, it’s just a pity not more guest acknowledge it. This might be an introduction issue at front desk.

The pool is small and definitely not enough sunbeds with the only two umbrellas broken and guests constantly having to ask for towels. They are renovating so hopefully all of this is taken into consideration. The ‘beach area’ needs to be cleaned up with the rocks moved so guests have a foot path - small stuff make a big difference! The small bay has plenty of fish to see if snorkeling is your thing.

The location of the hotel is good, the views are spectacular and the food is incredible. A few local reception staff (Amr included) need retraining as their attitude was obvious and felt. I must mention a Russian lady did step in and tried her best to make sure guests were happy but one person should not shoulder the responsibility of a team and you are only as strong as your weakest link in hospitality.

My husband mentioned the property is adults only but I assume this has changed and we saw a few kids. Pluses is that covid tests are administered on property and they are building shower facilities for those who have late flights.

Overall we had a good holiday but this property needs working on to compete on the same service level as the other Hilton’s in its league.

We stayed at the Hilton for a few nights after first arriving in the Seychelles. The Hotel itself is located far to the north of Beau Vallon beach in a somewhat quiet area and you either need to take a taxi or walk a long way to get anywhere. The hotel is the “smallest” Hilton in the world in that it has the fewest number of rooms of any Hilton. Check in was a breeze, the staff was friendly and polite. They had left us a welcome cake, but being a tropical location, the cake was overrun with ants. Despite that, the room was large, clean and the views amazing. In cleaning the room, the odd thing was that the Kleenex was never refilled which is not a big deal, just odd. The amenities at the hotel were nice, the pool had a great view and there was always plenty of spots to sit. The hotel seems to partner with cruise lines or travel agencies to allow non-guests to come in and use the facilities. The staff was attentive and beyond polite. The rooms were quiet and often the only sound was the sound of the waves at night. We spent a day in the spa as well. All of the rooms are located away from the restaurants, spa and pool so one needs to walk to each place. Our room was farthest from the facilities and we did not mind the walk. Others with mobility issues may find the walk long, but there is a golf cart that can be used by any of the guests which is run by the front desk. Would recommend staying here for anyone that visits the island.

Overall a fantastic stay. The staff including the concierge (Sara) were extremely helpful in giving us recommendations for dining and excursions. If you are willing to pay for a private tour, we recommend asking the concierge to put you in touch with Gilly, we enjoyed him so much we asked him to drive us to the airport a few days later. The food overall was fantastic, especially the breakfast and the bar's location on the cliff's. The drinks at the bar were incredible and I recommend the passion fruit mojito. There is an abundance of places to sit and lay down in front of the ocean. The waves crashing into the rocks below the spa made the entire spa experience more enjoyable from the sounds of the waves. While the only downside of the hotel even during rainy season would be the lack of a large sandy beach, there were two smaller sandy beaches that were great (during rainy season, the area of the sandy beaches decreases, which also make it dangerous to kayak or snorkel). However, if you insist on a large sandy beach then there is a beach about a 15 minute walk away. Additionally, the hotel has several daily activities such as yoga and dance lessons that will enhance your stay. I was extremely happy with the service of every staff member that assisted me and would 100% recommend this hotel.

The Hilton Seychelles Northolme really is paradise on Earth! Every room has an outside deck, an ocean view, and a jacuzzi tub. No matter where you are, you can lay back and let the waves put you to sleep. We have tons of pictures and memories that we'll cherish for life because of this place.

Unfortunately, there were a couple of roaches in our room that detracted from our last stay (we've stayed here twice already, and the first stay was absolutely perfect). I don't know if it's unreasonable to expect a beach-front, tropical location to be free of bugs. But I think it's reasonable to expect the living area of a five-star hotel to be free of roaches. With roaches, if there are one or two in plain sight, there are probably more hiding.

I hope this is an outlier, because my wife and I were hoping to start a yearly tradition coming here. It really is a testament to the beauty of this location that I'm still giving it three stars in spite of the roaches in the room.

Spent 6 nights here and we were most impressed. The most favorable feature was the service - best we have had anywhere and we do a lot of traveling. Waiters, room service, front desk personnel all fell over themselves trying to meet every need we had during our stay complemented with big smiles and most pleasant demeanor. Rooms were spotless; AC, infiniti pools and furnishings well maintained, and used items were replaced daily. Creative towel animals graced our bed every day. Breakfast (included buffet and menu items) at the Mahe was superb, especially in this COVID age and creative methods were utilized to keep food/furnishings safe and plentiful. Dinner at the Waves was also excellent. The beach was nice, well cleaned with decent snorkeling for its size, Would be delighted to stay here again - recommend dry season reservations to avoid the frequent rain showers.

We stayed for three nights at this quaint resort in Mahe and overall had a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived until we departed we felt the sincere desire of everyone to help in every possible way. We were greeted with smiles and ushered to our room an hour before formal check in. The front desk helped us set up a day excursion to La Digue and Praslin, a car rental, as well as a spa appointment and a scuba dive trip (which they kindly accommodated changes for when we had to postpone a couple of hours). The breakfast restaurant overlooks beautiful views and we enjoyed the soft dinner live music on one evening. The resort is small (in a good way) and amicable. The beach was quiet when we visited but keep in mind it is a small enclave with limited space. The location is also close to Victoria downtown where we visited the perfect beach one day and enjoyed a dinner at The Boat House on another night. We had a late flight on our last day and while they could not book us any extension they have a very well-equipped room with facilities solely for this purpose. Everyone was just super friendly and relaxed but made sure to provide great service.

Just a short message to express our thanks to the whole team at the Hilton Northolme. We only stayed for 3 nights but it was absolutely magical and exactly the rest and relaxation we needed.

First of all, the staff are wonderful. The girls on the reception desk were always an absolute delight to interact with and they really went out of their way to ensure we had a perfect stay.

The hotel benefits from a mesmerising position overlooking the bay and watching the sunsets every evening was something we’ll remember forever.

Kudos to the chefs and their team because the food was excellent. We only booked for B&B but ended up having a couple of evenings meals in the restaurant overlooking the beautifully lit cove below. Again, the service and the quality of the food was really deserved of praise.

As noted by other reviewers, the hotel has gone out of its way to ensure the safety of the guests and it was apparent to us (without being overbearing) that cleanliness was being taken very seriously. The daily cleaning service was still available, albeit on request, and we gladly took that up. A big advantage was also being able to book a Covid test for our return journey directly in the hotel. There was a slight premium but worth it.

Once again, thank you for such a memorable stay.

Hi , what plug sockets are used in the hotel ?

They use the standard UK style 3 pin plugs. I would take a travel adaptor if you have items that need charging via USB as these seemed to be limited in the villas.
