What an amazing place to relax, very green garden, beautiful sea view, nice and friendly staffs. We came for our wedding and on the wedding day, they surprised us with the room plenty of flowers, also as our flight was a night flight, they let us use the room without any extra charge, it was so nice of them. The place is so relaxing, it has a garden on the hill and a beautiful sea view on the other side. I will definitely choose this hotel again when I comeback to Seychelles.

We stayed at the Bliss Hotel for 10 days in early January 2021. Despite the Covid situation, we wanted to spend a few relaxing days. Unfortunately, the regulations changed one day before our departure and a lock down was introduced there and the quarantine obligation was increased from 5 to 10 days. We were very disappointed with the accommodation in many respects. The hotel did not inform us about the changed travel regulations before departure, but we were contacted if we should be picked up from the airport for 50€. Due to the lock down we had to eat at the hotel associated restaurant in the evening. The food as well as the menu were not worth 4 stars. There were a la carte choices of burgers, pasta dishes, pizza and a few fish dishes. The prices are overpriced (between 15-25€). Three fish sticks with fries were 18€. A bottle of water cost 5€ and the local beer (0.25 l) which costs just under 2€ in the store around the corner is charged 4€. The crowning glory was a garden salad with 3-4 slices of cucumber, a few tomatoes and peppers for 10€. For vegetarians there are only 2-3 dishes that come into question. All in all, both from the price-performance ratio and taste a bitter disappointment and not on the level of a 4 star hotel / restaurant! The service also needs a lot of work. The employees seem unmotivated and unskilled. There is no friendly greeting, it is not asked if it tasted good or if everything is okay. You have to ask for ashtrays every day, this is probably the case for several guests as there are some cigarette butts on the floor. Despite fewer hotel guests, the service was apparently not wanted to satisfy guests let alone make sales. The breakfast was okay. There was a variation of fruits with two pancakes and Nutella to start. However, the pancakes did not taste homemade, probably a stirred ready-made mixture. Afterwards there were scrambled eggs with a slice of toast as well as some bacon, sausages and baked beans. Unfortunately, the breakfast remained the same for the entire 10 days, no variation or something new. Often something was simply left out that was not replenished. We had a room across the street, the rooms were nicely furnished and spacious with air conditioning. However, the sanitary areas are outdated and should be renovated. In the shower, some mold formed on the wall after the second day, which is probably just repainted after each guest visit, as the rooms are just too damp. In the toilet, the silver foil on the mirror has already come off in some places. The hotel's own beach towels that you get were mostly stained, dirty or not properly washed out, which also does not deserve 4 stars. The hotel complex itself is nicely located with its own small beach which is quite beautiful. Due to the location, however, with somewhat higher waves. In some places, however, once again needs to be invested. In summary: - Location Hotel good - Design hotel good - but in some places a little in need of overhaul - Rooms ok - in need of renovation in some places - Food not good - no 4 stars - Service poor - no 4 stars - Price-performance ratio very bad

A lovely hotel - we stayed in the Sea-view apartment and it very clean and nicely decorated and has a fantastic view over the sea. We had a problem and needed to change islands and management and staff were very helpful and understanding about our booking. The food is very good too and our kids loved it in particular.
