Like so many our 2020 holiday got zapped by Covid. But we finally made it to Mauritius. The hotel was clean, the staff were wonderful. The view across the bay was stunning as were the sunsets. We loved the beach, where those more adventurous than us could sail, paddleboard, or windsurf. We enjoyed watching them. The beach, like the hotel was kept incredibly clean. The hotel staff were great; our favourites were Ajay, Ansuya & Raj - who took great care of us at the restaurants and bar. We would have liked the opportunity to experience more local dishes at the restaurant, but the buffets were tasty and offered a good variety of dishes. We enjoyed the live entertainment which was varied, from traditional Mauritian music and dance, through to an amazing saxophonist. Our room overlooked the bay, and was kept spotless by Sita - who would somehow would find the time for a little chatter and really impressed us with her animal towel creations. We had waited 2 years to go to Mauritius it was definitely worth the wait. …
The time of our life's at the destination of romance and excitement. The hotel staff handles us with royalty and the excursion leaders were driven to provide us with the best experience. The local community were friendly and very helpful with the very limited amount of French we knew.
10 nights of bliss celebrating big milestones in our lives and we just wanted to relax and we certainly did. Beautiful small hotel on the beach with friendly staff and spotlessly clean. Food was amazing and the beach and gardens were immaculate.
We couldn’t have picked a better stay for our Honeymoon! The staff were as friendly and welcoming as they get and the effort that was put into making our stay here memorable, was absolutely exceptional! The staff here were at our every need and want, making sure that we never went without anything. The buffets were filled with a great variety of lovely food and for my Wife’s birthday, a private table was setup on the beach for a beautiful 3 course seafood dinner. The food was phenomenal! This exquisite resort will definitely be seeing us again.
We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly, the hotel itself is beautiful, I loved the view of the sea with every turn. Our room was comfortable but could do with updating, I would recommend asking for a room on the first or second floor to take advantage of the sea views. The food was ok, but could have been better. The swimming pools and gardens were lovely but the biggest downside for me personally was the small beach and the water here is not crystal clear as imagined so snorkelling was pointless which was a massive disappointment. There are beaches close by and on other parts of the island that are much better. We had a lovely catamaran tour with BBQ, we also treated ourselves to a speed boat tour along the east coast which was simply incredible, we saw wild monkeys, huge fruit bats and dolphins, a trip not to be missed. However, the highlight was a helicopter trip to the south of the island taking in the incredible view of Le Morne, it is is simply breathtaking and well worth the money. Mauritius is a stunning island and we will be back to explore it further ❤️…
