Detailed Reviews
We have just spent an incredible week at Andronis Arcadia. Where to begin.. apart from the glorious setting, the thing that shined the most was the service. From the initial check in experience with Tim, along with the daily interactions with the amazing Christina all made our perfect holiday. Christina felt like having your own personal concierge and she helped plan some amazing trips for us and was always on hand. Her particular attention to detail is fab such as ensuring we had the best table at Franco’s cafe for sunset (Nice touch) Behind her there was an army of incredibly helpful staff always on hand via the WhatsApp concierge app which is nothing short of brilliant and I don’t remember all your names but thank you !! Same goes for the staff serving us breakfast. Incredibly kind and helpful and always on hand. We loved one guy in particular who we joked and called him Tomer as he looked Israeli !
The rooms are so incredibly homely and I want to mention a special shout out to those people normally forgotten like the room cleaners. Every time we left our room, our room was cleaned instantly. This is not a cheap hotel at all but I LOVE the fact that one is constantly supplied with an abundance of free bottled water even at the pool. This is how things should be at a hotel of this cost but rarely are. I also thought that complimentary yoga and guided hikes and other training classes is such a nice touch. It made me feel like the Andronis group are not trying to tear peoples eyes out at every opportunity... well done !
With regards to Covid, all staff wore masks always and didn’t have them around their chin half heartedly like you see around a lot. The hotel and all shared spaces are completely spotless and we felt very safe and almost escaping this awful virus ...
The main pool is beautiful and was surprisingly empty most afternoons.
I only have a few negatives but think it’s important to highlight. The breakfast is delicious, abundant and the variety is perfect. We did eat one meal in PacMan and whilst it was good it was not memorable. Same for sushi by the pool. Nice but just ok.
The only huge negative that I didn’t like that must be pointed out is the Wine list. I’ve never seen such an expensive wine list. Given that Santorini is famous for its wines, there should be a selection local wines on there that one can order by the pool for <€50. This was a little disappointing and I think you should fix this
Fortunate enough to have travelled in some of the most luxurious hotels in the world and this is right up there. What a beautiful hotel in a stunning location just 5 mins walk from the Main Street of Oia. Highly recommended!!!!

Dear Mr. Michaels, Thank you for reviewing our property on TripAdvisor! Your fabulous words are much appreciated from Arcadia team. I would like to personally thank you for the compliments about the design, the suite, the views but more importantly the service you received! Your feedback about the shushi and the wine list is useful to us for tine-tuning our operations for the next guests of Andronis. I look forward to your next visit to Santorini, for the honeymoon maybe? Best Regards, George Giourtzidis Hotel Manager

We stayed at the Andronis in Oia after spending 5 nights on the beach on the other side of the island. The 2 hotels liaised to ensure on arrival that our room was ready. We were greeted by the fabulous Christina who welcomed us with a drink and then took us to our suite. The suite feels uncluttered and very nicely furnished, although I would have preferred a proper bed rather than a mattress on a raised platform. The outside space is very cleverly designed so that you feel completely private and secluded with a view out to the ocean, and the most amazing sunsets. The private pool is really clever, not just a plunge pool but an actual pool you can swim in, and the temperature was perfect.
The hotel feels completely Covid safe and the staff wear masks and hand sanitiser readily available there are also complimentary masks and hand sanitiser in the room, I never once felt uneasy.
The main swimming pool is very cool with an infinity style pool and sun beds that are in the water, we spent the majority of our time in our room and on our private terrace and felt we didn’t need to use the shared area. There is music played all the time in the restaurant and pool area which we didn’t like - but probably most people do like this, it’s hard to cater to everyone’s needs.
The breakfast was from a menu and there was plenty of choice and good juices. We had lunch a few times but didn’t eat there in the evenings.
Christina organised some fabulous dinners for us in Oia, it’s lovely to leave the seclusion of the Andronis and in 5 mins you are in the middle of Oia which feels altogether different and busier - glad we weren’t staying in a hotel in Oia as they are all built on top of each other and there isn’t much privacy or space.
Christina organised a massage for me which I would highly recommend, the spa area is beautiful and well worth a visit. I also did a complimentary yoga class which was great.
We had a very relaxing and pampered stay and would highly recommend this hotel as you get the best of both worlds by being within walking distance of Oia but having space and seclusion.
Christina really is an asset to this hotel and I don’t think our experience would have been quite the same without her.
Thank you

I stayed at Andronis Arcadia in the first week of August and it was nothing short of perfect.
It has a true luxurious feel from start to finish and the service is impeccable.
Our suite was bright and extremely spacious and had a very comfortable bed and a pillow menu. It is perfect for travelling in a group or as a family as there is ample space. Toiletries in the room are also excellent, there is hand sanitiser and masks for you to take out with you.
Rooms are cleaned daily and the cleaning staff are extremely sweet and highly meticulous.
The front desk staff are knowledgable and are happy to help with all requests and needs.
The food in the restaurant is delicious for both dinner and breakfast and the view from the restaurant is stunning, I would highly recommend watching the sun set there.
It is perfectly located a stones throw from all of the beautiful spots in Oia, I would highly recommend a stay!

Wow. It’s hard to have the words to describe this place. It is the most beautiful hotel I’ve ever seen. The suite was just impeccable. In every single instance where I wondered if there was something (like available sunscreen at the pool because we forgot ours, or an electrical converter) they already had it.
The staff (every SINGLE one of them) went so above and beyond to have us feel taken care of. The reception desk arranged many reservations and taxis for us. They greeted us with a bottle of wine and yummy snacks.
The bed was so incredibly comfortable (they take that seriously with a sleep concierge)! The private pool was something of dreams. The breakfast was exceptional.
We did facials at the spa and it was incredibly relaxing and professional. The cold towel that they give you to refresh yourself was life changing. Like I said, they have thought of literally everything.
The food at all the restaurants was fantastic. The ONLY criticism I have of the food was when we did a tasting menu at Opson it took over four hours and was way way way too long. The food was excellent but the pacing between courses needs improvement.
Our departing flight was canceled due to high winds and the only thing that made the day salvageable was returning to the Andronis and them luckily having availability (in the same room we were staying in!). They really tried to help us and make sure we were okay.
At one point the temperature of the pool water was a little cold. We called them and within minutes the pool was at a more comfortable temperature. What?!
Ultimately I cannot recommend this place highly enough. This review hardly does it justice, they are just truly exceptional in every way. It will be hard to stay anywhere else ever again. My biggest complaint is that they have ruined hotels everywhere else forever! 🤣

Amazing hotel, just returned from a weeks stay in a sunset suite. The hotel is immaculate but what makes the holiday, are the staff! I cant compliment them enough, from housekeeping, garden staff to restaurant/bar staff they all made this holiday worth while during the pandemic. I have to give a particular mention to Christina, her knowledge and recommendations about where to visit and eat were superb, she organised all our trips and tables and not one disappointed! Also Spiros, at the pool bar, made our chill days around the pool worth while, his knowledge and cocktail making skills refreshed us during the hot sunny days.
Yes, the hotel is beautiful and 5 star but it is your staff that deserve the applause, without them this would just be another hotel, everyone of them needs recognition for their dedication and hard work to make the Andronis stand out from the rest.

EDIT Oct 20th 2022:
The Andronis team reached out to us within a month of our stay after seeing this review. They did so in a very professional and insistent manor, so we would get a change to talk about our experience. They took in all the feedback we had to give and agreed this was not the experience they expect to give and are actively making changes to address our concerns for future guests. They also provided handsome concessions to show their commitment to quality and their guests. I will say I cant think of a company with better customer service then this.
END EDIT:
For paying over $1000 a night, I was not impressed with the rooms. The hotel restaurant (Pacman) is jaw-dropping. They just put in a lower level pool that sits below the infinity pool at the restaurant, and the drinks are great. The service and the breakfast spread is superb. It really felt like a 5 star hotel. However, the rooms themselves are a bit run down and dated. This is where the 5 start dropped to 3 stars. Our room smelled like smoke and many of the little things were broken or worn out. For instance the TV mounts were falling off the wall with all the wires exposed. A few of the hooks to hang towels were broken. One of the door key holes was broken. The door to the main bathroom would not shut all the way, the floor was uneven. There was also lack of 5 star detail. There are two sinks in the main bathroom, however one is right behind the door, so the door can not open if someone is standing there, and if it is open, you can't use the sink. Some fixtures were white, while others were black, very mismatched.
The view was pretty amazing, it was UN-obstructed sunset, however, there is a small garden that sits in front of the private plunge pool and it was a bit of an eye sore. Would of preferred a infinity pool.
The hotel staff was really nice and helpful, they brought 2 2L bottles of filtered water every day complimentary, and a nice little welcome cookie/snack/brownie/bottle of wine.

I first want to mention the staff at Arcadia who offered service above and beyond. I’ve never had such brilliant service ever, they were able to make us restaurant bookings all over the island, bar bookings, they booked our hire car and were able to make great recommendations. In each of the restaurant reservations we made through them we were offered the best seats in the house.
The two bedroom villa was spacious and a great layout for a small group, especially families with young children. The pool was a good size and offered a sea view with plenty of space on the terrace where we could enjoy the sun.
The main pool is the largest in Oia and absolutely stunning, you can enjoy the famous sunsets without battling a crowd, whilst enjoying a cocktail at the same time.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a luxurious stay in Santorini, it is less than a 10 minute walk into the beautiful town of Oia which offers the best sunsets in the Mediterranean!

Words cannot describe how perfect this hotel is.
The location is excellent; a two minute walk Into central Oia. You benefit from the sunsets which you don’t get in central Oia. More importantly, the hotel has a secluded feel to it which is impossible to get in central Oia due to the structure of the cliffs and the tourists. You really do get the best of both by staying just outside.
The rooms are sensational. Every room has a private pool. The style is really fresh and natural looking. You feel like you are in your own villa when sitting on your terrace - and we had the room in the lowest category!
If you don’t fancy sitting at your own pool all day, you can sit at the main infinity pool which is really special. The beds in the front row are suspended above the water on a wooden plank, really cool! The pool beds ( and the beds on your terrace ) are really luxurious. It wasn’t too difficult to get beds by the pool, most likely due to the fact that lots of people spend their time at their own pools.
Breakfast was great. A really interesting menu. We liked the covid-friendly cereal trolley! The lunch menu by the pool is also good.
The service is discreet but friendly and personal. Christina was particularly warm and helpful! Nothing was too much to ask. The whatsapp concierge service is a nice touch and very convenient. We loved the little gifts we received whilst there (snacks, wine, bouquet of flowers and even a going home gift!). The concierge was extremely helpful with booking restaurants.
As a prime example of how much the hotel cares for their guests, when complaining about the brusque manner of our taxi driver on the way home, the hotel were quick to fully reimburse us. We found this extremely generous without us asking for it.
This place really is top notch. Pricey, but absolutely worth it. We would love to return.

This is a beautiful hotel however it definitely needs improvement. We had the 2 bedroom villa, for starters the living situation didn’t quiet match the images on the website. Not saying the images are false however most rooms have a different set up so it’s a gamble which image will match or you hoped will match your room. The outdoor space had no umbrella, which was quiet exhausting midday with direct sun hitting us. The grounds around the pool is very slippery with zero traction, it’s an accident waiting to happen. Their food menu was very disappointing, more over the food lacked any innovation or flavor. The coffee lacked the punch and flavor you get outside the hotel, it was a total let down. The breakfast bread was stale- despite what they will dispute, the truth is the bread tasted like bread that was out for day or two. Room service repeatedly got our order wrong and items would be missing, including coffee cups, utensils, plates. I understand it’s high summer season but with the price being charged for our stay being busy is a not an acceptable accuse. The staff was nice, and helpful. However given the chance to go to back this would not be a place I would choose.

Not even sure where to start here as Andronis Arcadia did so many things so well we still can't stop talking about our time there. First off, the concierge and service throughout the property was beyond anything we've ever experienced. Making reservations, recommendations always with a smile of their faces and making sure we were comfortable. The food was amazing, and our room was perfect for our honeymoon with extra privacy and welcome surprise on our arrival. The spa was amazing and our massage was worth every penny leaving us fully relaxed. We will be back! Thanks again

Dear Michael,
We are so happy reading that you are coming to our property.
Both 2 bedroom villas & family suites have 2 separate bedrooms.
I would suggest you to go for the 2 bedroom villa wich has less steps.
Regarding the privacy concern, our front office team will do the outmost to give you the best possible room in terms of privacy.
Please add the above mentioned requests to reservations department.
Kind regards,
GG
We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite (#215) and the private pool and patio were very nice. I really liked having the bedrooms on different floors with their own living rooms. The private pools are essentially all the same, albeit, some units are more private than others.
Dear guest,
Indeed the hotel, could arrange various transportation options.
Therefore, we would kindly be requested to contact hotel mail adress in order to arrange all the required aspects of your journey.
