There's so many lodges online, its hard to know how to choose. Friends recommended this one and it did not disappoint. From the animals, to the food (I proposed to the chef) , to the guides, and to the room & staff - all and...More
This is my second trip to Nedile Lodge and I thought the first time was fantastic, but our second visit has exceeded all expectations. The hosts, General Managers and guides John and Dominique, could not have done more for us. The food, the dining experiences...More
Just went to this great lodge in Welgevonden. 20 min drive by safari car, where you get your transport to the lodge.
Staff is personal and well mannered.
We had some awesome gamedrives. The enthousiasm and knowledge of John makes it absolutely great!

Nedile Lodge is unfortunately not a kids friendly establishment and we have a 10 years old minimum policy. It is situated in Welgevonden Game Reserve with no electric fences around it. Elepants come and drink water at the swimming pool and roam freely around the rooms. We also have leopard around. We prefer to be truly part of nature without artificual fencing. There are, however, other lodges in Welgevonden that are fenced and that can accommodate kids.

October is usually quite hot already - I would suggest comfortable summer clothes and maybe a sweater for the evening game drives. Other than that, nothing specific - what ever you are comfortable in. :)
