This was our first experience of a game reserve and it was amazing. Although luck does come into it (nature not always wanting to play the game), the skill and understanding of Borant, our ranger and guide played a huge part in the amazing animal sightings that we enjoyed. The service within the lodge itself was outstanding with friendly staff,...

This is a small lodge, with only five rooms, so you get very nice, personal service. The location is spectacular, with great views over the game reserve. The rooms are big, comfortable, well appointed, and all have private verandas. The game drives were great, and we also enjoyed the food. Overall, one of the best game lodges that we have...

We love the African Bush and we often travel to Game Lodges! We had a wonderful stay at Nedile ! The position is amazing, where it is perched on the edge of a rocky ridge in the Waterberg range. Views are "forever" and one can see the outline of 3 or 4 mountain ranges in the distance! Sunsets are special...

Second visit in six months, and again everything superb. Thank you to Barend who took on our game visits. We saw the Big 5 over three days, so what more could you ask for. Food, service and staff all excellent.

Perfect service, nice food, Michael is the perfect ranger, nice rooms with the best view. It's really a 10 out of 10 place. I think 3 nights is about perfect. One thing I have to mention. You have to enjoy the whole 'group thing'. You do the Game Drives together (max 10 persons), you eat 3 meals a day together...

We had the most amazing stay and in fact the best holiday ever. What an amazing place; the view is just beyond words, the accommodation very luxurious but it's the staff and game ranger that made our stay truly memorable. We WILL definitely visit again. Thank you for a holiday to remember

My husband and I spent 3 nights at the lodge, a treat to spoil me on my birthday. An easy drive taking just over 3 hours from Joburg. It was my first visit to Welgevonden Game Reserve and I was wowed by its beauty. The road between the N1 highway and the reserve is in good condition. The last 15...

We spent two nights and absolutely loved it - from the friendly staff, the views, the fantastic food to the thrilling game drives. We were made to feel welcome and the staff really goes out of their way to accommodate their guests. The rooms are lovely, with outdoor showers and stunning views from the verandah. Our ranger, Barend, was very...
