We had the most wonderful time and perfect two honeymoon days at the lodge. Our South Africa trip couldn’t have ended any better and we are glad the very best came to the end. This is the most wonderful place down to the smallest detail, we received the loveliest honeymoon and welcome treats, had a stunning scenery and watched elephants, zebras and lots of other animals from the pool. From the most wonderful, hospitably and caring manager Sanet to the whole team and the ranger, we met the best people that made us feel completely at ease from the first minute we walked in. The food, the safari experience and the whole stay were beyond expectations and we cannot wait to get back to this place.

Three couples travelling together arrived off the plane and transported to camp Ndlovu for a three day adventure. What an amazing experience And a warm welcome to Africa... right from check in to our departure our group was treated to first class food, rooms, service and safari. Melvin our safari driver has over 25 years experience and knew exactly how to track the big 5. We got 4 of the big 5 and were thrilled. The food at all three meals was delicious and beautifully presented. The extra touches included in room drinks. The rooms were beautifully appointed and also had outdoor private pool off your room and an outdoor shower & tub option. The views from the rooms included elephants, baboons, zebra and Whart hogs on a river. All the staff were professional and exceeded expectations. One of our party has been on a few safaris and rated this one 10/10. I definitely recommend and would love to return with my grandkids.

We are privileged to have enjoyed many South African game lodge visits and our stay at Camp Ndlovu was up there with the best, if not NO 1 for us. Great game viewing, knowledgeable ranger, fantastic food, staff professional, attentive and service orientated, with the facilities absolutely tremendous. Full boarding and lodging with even your drinks on the house. Great food prepared by a professional chef. The 5 suites are luxuriously equipped with everything you would want and more - with some unexpected added bonuses of spectacular sun decks, private plunge pools and lovely outside shower facilities.

Upon arrival, the reception we got from our humble ranger Marvin was impeccable. He had us prep with a warm welcome. Once at the lodge it was luxury till our departure. David, Jake, Patrick, Kate, Elizabeth , Joseph and of course it humble Chef. The service was second to none I’ve ever received. The BOMA Experience was one of my favorites. This place is definitely a MUST. The game drives was entertaining and educational. I can’t thank Marvin enough. Sanet you have an amazing team. Can’t wait to come back to visit next year. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality.

We stayed at Camp Ndlovu for our honeymoon last month and had an amazing time. The property is gorgeous. The staff was great - Sanet, David, Jack, Lazarous made us feel so welcomed and taken care of. The food at every meal was delicious. We saw elephants, zebra and many monkeys from the lodge, and tons more on every game drive. Would definitely recommend Camp Ndlovu!

Absolutely supurb first class service all the way, an absolute gem in the bush, lots of space and privacy, over looking a water hole frequented by game. Outstanding food and service, excellent ranger.

We recently stayed at Camp Ndlovu the Service is truly amazing, the food divine (more kilos to work off in the gym). Nothing was too much trouble. The game drives are good but the Rangers are not allowed o go 'offroading' so make sure you have a good camera if you want some nice sightings.

Camp Ndlovu is a 10 person luxury lodge in Welgevonden Game Reserve. My family and I have just spent 5 nights and had the most amazing time. We were 10 people - 4 adults and 6 children so we had the lodge exclusively. Sanat and her team were amazing, nothing was too much to ask. The service was attentive and the food was fantastic.
The lodge is beautiful and our rooms were fantastic with our own swimming pool which over looked a watering hole. One day the kids were playing in the pool and the elephants came close by.
Melvin was our wonderful ranger, he has been working at Welgevonden Game Reserve for over 27 years. He knows the reserve like the back of his hand - he knows everything about every single animal, he can spot an animal miles away and which animals footprints are in the sand plus how fresh their tracks. He was very patient with the children and answered all their questions.
This was my children's first safari holiday, they got to see the Big 5 and more. Welgevonden is a great reserve offering different terrains and experiences. Its Malaria free and a 3 hours drive from Jo'burg.
Thank you Camp Ndlovu for a truly wonderful holiday.

On our arrival we were greeted with beating drums, a welcome drink and friendly staff.

Throughout our stay the level of service and attention to detail was immaculate and the staff went out of their way to keep us satisfied.

With every meal the food was great and the servings more than generous.
When we didnt feel like having a full meal the one night, we simply communicated this to Lawrence who was more than happy to provide us with a delicious snack platter instead.

The game drives by Malvin, the very knowledgeable guide were great and animal sightings plentiful.
Even at the lodge at the watering hole, animals frequently visited and we could enjoy watching them up close from the deck where we enjoyed our daytime meals.

The camp fires at night on the deck under the stars and with the sounds of the bush were equally magical.

The unit we stayed in had everything we could want for and more on this luxury bush escape, from a private pool, to outside bath and outside shower, deck, stocked mini bar, etc, etc.
The camp and all the rooms are ever so immaculately designed and furnished.

The general manager, Sanet is such a warm and friendly lady who went out of her way to ensure that our stay was perfect.

Once again we were bid farewell by Sanet and all the staff with beating drums and an African song.............beautiful memories we take along with us!!
