What an amazing experience!!!
When I say everything was perfect, I mean everything was perfect cannot fault a thing. The chef is first class and the food, OMW delicious!!!. The game drives were straight out of a magazine :) . This lodge goes above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable at all times. Little touches like running a bubble bath every evening when you get back from your game drive was just the best experience ever!!! A BIG Thank You to Sanet, April and ther team, what a great weekend. Will go back in a heart beat.

I had the awesome opportunity to propose at Camp Ndlovu and It will forever be my most unforgettable getaway. From the moment you arrive you are treated with the utmost respect and care and best of all welcomed with drinks. The staff are so so friendly and everything runs like a well oiled machine.

The views are out of this world and are made even more special by The game drives and sunsets.

Sanet was so inviting and made our stay so magical. Sanet planned every little detail in the proposal process and made us feel at home. Her contagious laugh and interesting conversations and caring personality definitely left us missing her once we had left.

Camp Ndlovu makes sure they never miss the small details, even running the bath every evening when we arrive back from dinner.

Nickolas the chef cooked us the most amazing food, which left us beyond impressed.

April our guide never left out a single detail while on game drives and keep us entertained and laughing all the time, making us coffees on the morning game drives and stopping for sun downers in the evening.

George and Jack never went with out a smile and were always around, making us feel relaxed and satisfied, true gentleman they are.

Thank you Sanet and your fantastic team for making our proposal out of this world at Camp Ndlovu.
We will be back.

Everything from start to finish was impressive. The setting is beautiful and the staff are friendly and helpful. We saw lots of animals on the game drives and our guide, Marvin was very knowledgeable. The lodge and the rooms are beautiful and you really feel immersed in nature. Thank you to the chef for all the delicious food. The entire experience has been very well though out with attention to detail which makes guests feel very well looked after. Thank you so much to the whole team for an amazing experience. I hope to be back soon.

The camp ndlovu experience was hands down the best holiday I have ever been on in my life. I can barley put into words how fantastic and amazing this place is.

Firstly the staff are an absolute credit to the establishment, I’ve never experienced such attentive and wonderful service as I did from the guys at camp ndlovu. David and Jack our hosts were brilliant for our whole stay and Marvin our tour guide was just incredible! His knowledge of the African bush and the animals was so insightful it made the trip even more special. Can’t thank those guys enough.

The food was also remarkable, the chefs would put on amazing spreads of food and the menu was to die for! You always were left satisfied and if anyone had special food requirements the guys were only to happy to carter for us, I ate like a king for the whole week!!

And finally the accommodation was stunning, it was set in the perfect location. From our room we had fantastic views of the African bush and it’s amazing wildlife and this was also replicated at the dinning/communal area. The room was beautifuly furnished and the facilities were so well equipped, I highly recommend the outdoor shower !

Thank you so much for making a truly unforgettable experience !

Jacob.

Our 4 night stay was fantastic. The warm welcome from ranger Malvin at the Main Gate and the beating of tribal drums and team smiles at the lodge upon our arrival set the tone for special weekend ahead. Highlights were hot water bottles on early morning chilly game drives, a bubble bath awaiting your entry in the evenings, before a heavenly nights rest, private plunge pools, and deck to relax, outside bath and shower. The game experience was super, with Malvin's expertise we saw unbelievable big 5 sightings. The food was exceptional, fresh and beautifully presented and special diet requests were no problem at all. Sonette is the ultimate lodge host together with her team of happy people, they really made us feel like kings and queens. We'll be back for sure! This place is a top spot with all the treats you can think of.

My husband and I stayed at Camp Ndlovu for 3 nights and it completely exceeded our expectations!

From the minute we arrived at the main gate at Welgevonden, we were met by our amazing guide April, who set up a wonderful drink and snack station for us to enjoy. This was such a special touch and the only lodge who did it for their guests.

We then had a wonderful hour drive to the lodge, where we were met by all staff members, singing and playing the drums. We were led out onto the balcony where an Ellie was peacefully enjoying a drink at the river, while we received a bottle of bubbly to enjoy and a delicious lunch.

Our room was exceptional - room with a view, private pool, outdoor bath & shower, delicious snacks and a minibar. Always cleaned and maintained during our stay, with a bubble bath run every night as we got home from our evening drive.

The lodge is intimate and the General Manager, Sanet, ensures that you are treated like royalty during your stay. She really ensures that they pull out all the stops to make your stay even that more memorable. It was my husbands birthday and while on an evening game drive we were treated to a surprise sunset drink stop with a special birthday cake.

The lodge has a gym if you wish to do some exercise, as well as a Spa to get pampered.

Special thanks to Sanet and her amazing team - Jack who looked after us, Ezekiel, Zack, chef Nicholas (his food is insanely good!), our guide April who was so knowledgable, and the wonderful ladies who kept everything so clean.

This is a true gem of a lodge that will offer you the privacy and intimacy you deserve! We will definitely be back.

Camp Ndlovu is the perfect place for families or for couples. The service is impeccable. The staff, game rangers, managers and chefs go out of their way to make sure that your stay exceeds expectations. No request is too big or too small! The chef catered to vegan needs (with great success!) as well as to meat eaters.
The rooms are luxurious! The views from the lodge are gorgeous (and it was a treat seeing the animals at the watering hole at the lodge) and of course the game drives were the highlight with our brilliant guide. Thank you for the lovely stay! COVID protocol was followed.

We have had other safari experiences, but this was enhanced by its overall ease. Ndlovu is a mere 2 1/2 hour drive from its sister property, The Residence in Johannesburg, and arranged by them. It matches the Residence in its elegance and its attention to detail. Our guide, April, was so knowledgeable, charming, flexible--the best. We saw and learned so much, relaxed and ate such wonderful food; it was perfect! All staff, starting with manager Sanet, are warm, friendly, and attentive. Now our goal is to return with our daughter and family to give them an experience that will go way beyond a Disney trip!

Camp Ndlovu is a truly exceptional place. Nestled in the Welgevonden Reserve it offers spectacular game viewing and outstanding accommodation, food and service. We had multiple close sightings of 4 of the big 5, as well as cheetah, giraffe and many other species of animals and birds. The waterhole at the camp provides daily close up viewing of elephants and many other animals. The suites were spacious, stylish, very comfortable and well appointed. The staff were extremely attentive, friendly and thoughtful and the food was consistently outstanding. I very much look forward to visiting again soon.
