Great location- only 10 mins drive from the falls. My room, sheets and toilet were very clean. The decoration and the hospitality are very impressive. Breakfast is included and coffee is available 24 hours at the lobby.
It says it in the name. I came here with the intent to find peace and I did. A compassionate front desk agent made my stay even better. Enjoy the yummy breads waffles and juices for breakfast. Thanks.
We booked this hotel for 2 night. We asked for an extra blanket at the reception, but they had non-strange service. In the bathroom was celling paint on the way down. Lot of noise from other room. Parking was good and the WiFi super. Breakfast cheap. Maybe the manager and his wife could find a small smile- it will help.
I frequently travel on business and stayed at this hotel and it was ironically a three minute walk from a customers residence which was very convenient. Check in was at 330pm but the room was not ready when getting their. The staff was cleaning the room and took a while to do so. A Hindu (?) man rudely said no no you stay here until done to me which I thought was weird I said no I’m going out and coming back (since the customer was close by) so I come and the room is cleaned for the most part but their is a used bar of soap in the shower which was disgusting. I threw it away. I get back the next night at 1015 and my key card would not open the door in the back they tell you to use pat 10. Which is stupid they lock the front entrance and yet have an open sign out when they aren’t open for real. A hotel should not be locking the damn front entrance that’s absurd. I rang the doorbell at the front door and a guy half asleep emerged from the back who was apparently sleeping prior to. He said my key was Had became un programmed. He was nice but the two stars is for the ridiculousness they trap customers outside after 10 who can’t get in. I coulda stayed at my customers place if I couldn’t get in and be embarrassed by it but others woulda been screwed if they couldn’t get back in. Shame.…
Do not stay here!!!! This hotel has HORRIBLE customer service!! My husband and the family members we are staying with have a reservation for Friday night through Sunday morning. We left Saturday morning to go see the American falls. We decided to take our bookbags and small suitcase with us so we could change our clothes after getting wet on maid of the mist and cave of the winds. I left my contact case on the sink, my shampoo and shower items in the shower and my hair straightener on the desk in the room. When we returned it was all missing. We asked the front desk and they had the cleaning lady talk to us. She stated that she didn't see any bags in the room so she was advised that the room was empty and admitted to throwing the shower things and contact case away. She denied seeing the straightener. My husband asked her who advised her that the room was empty. She changed her story and said no one and she thought the room was empty because she saw no bags. I gave her the benefit of the doubt and said that it may have looked like we checked out and I understood, but I wanted to be compensated for the missing objects. The worker at the front desk said there was nothing he could do, but said we could talk to the manager at 10pm. A little while later, the person from the front desk came to our door and said he talked to the manager and the manager said they couldn't do anything for me, and that the manager was now suddenly on vacation until July 16th. Today is the 13th. He gave me the card of the hotel with a number that I could call. I stated that I would no stay at the hotel again and let him know that I would file a police report, and he just walked away. There was never an apology for the items that the cleaning lady admitted to throwing away, and no admission was made that she had seen my straightener. I called the Niagara falls PD to file a report, and the officer asked to see their camera in the hallway during the time we left. Somehow the camera was black during that time and of course there wasn't much they could do because it was just my word versus the cleaning lady. They said they would look into it. So now I am out a $20-$25 dollar hair straightener, all my bath products, and I had to go out at night to Walmart to buy a contact case. No reimbursement, and a horrible response from the front desk staff.…
