Recommended to visit St Johns and had expected a quaint fishing village, unfortunately this was not the case as it is an African homeland so not what we were expecting. The staff at the resort were very friendly and helpful, the food was good with a large selection. Very nice pool which we needed as it was very hot while we...

Very friendly staff and wonderful location next to the river. Close to the center, but still far enough to enjoy nature and the quiet surrounding of Port St Johns. We stayed in the hotel, but the chalets are probably the nicest option.

What a spot. Nice rooms. Awesome open grass area. A spot for kids to have fun. But The food from the restaurant was nothing to write home about. Ordered curry for my wife and I, was more like an over cooked stew. And they didn't have stock of roti. My done was told he was getting a basket with chicken...

Beautiful location. Simple comfortable rooms and dinner was very good. Some aspects of the lodge are looking a little tired and are in need of an update but it's obvious that the new management are working hard to make a difference. Wifi beyond just the bar area would be great.

Don't expect to much while staying here. We had a room on the second floor, where I think the walls was made of cardboards. We could hear everything from people walking to talking, and snoring. The restaurant was ok, but when mussels have been frozen, they are not fresh, and I think the pizza was also pre-made. The wifi did...

Touring South Africa this was one of our overnight stops. Not the cheapest of our stops by any means. We're given a room number and little else, ie pointed in the general direction of the room but no assistance offered with luggage or general settling in. The room smelled of damp and the bathroom of urine. The wash hand basin...
