Stayed at the hotel for 2 nights on a business trip. It's a modest cozy hotel with clean room and decent wifi. Located within a golf course and the reception staff informed us that we could go golfing for a discounted fee (to be paid separately). Only suggestion for improvement, perhaps they could improve on the variety of buffet breakfast. I would definitely stay here again should I return to Ndola! Keep it up guys.
This is a Premier Inn (i.e. cheap) version of the stylish and original Latitude 15 hotel in Lusaka where I stayed for two months. The flooring, pendant lights, artworks, and even the colour of the walls have been blatantly copied. The quality of The Urban is a little wanting in places, as evidenced by the door handle coming off on arrival. No fridges or telephones in the rooms. Having said all that, Latitude 15 has been copied for a reason and The Urban is still a great and good value boutique-style hotel, way, way above most other hotels in Nodola. I'd recommend it.
I am currently staying at the Urban Hotel @Ndola City and completely satisfied of the quality of the service. Very friendly, helpful and welcoming staff. Clean rooms, delicious food and nice facilities...the only missing service is a nice Gym to allow the customers to keep up with there workout, specially because it is a golfing site.
The place is so wow... from the entrance to the rooms thru the back yard.... it is superb.... the urban art displayed on the walls makes the place to stand to its name... The rooms well kept... the bathroom thou not so spacious r modern.... need of towels to moap the floor after the shower... the breakfast lovely to compensate a long drive ahead.... the backyard with the pool and the lawn and the garden Bar... I so like it... hope i go back dere soonest... the staff so friendly makes u feel home away from home... well done dere keep it up... ill defibately recommend it for garden events with may b some arrangements to accomodate other guests...
Great new hotel with fantastic staff - really helpful and pleasant. Room was functional but a bit cramped and a small TV by modern standards, and afraid the menu was a bit limited. But the staff really made up for this and a very pleasant few days was had.
