Food was nourishing with several choices. Staff was helpful with any issues that arose. WiFi sketchy but they were always helpful in fixing. Safe and secure. Power in rainy season can be sporadic but back on quickly. Very clean guesthouse and good cleaning services.

Stayed for a night in this garden setting guest house. The room was clean and functional. I didn't spend much time there but would have liked to as the gardens are beautiful. I had a full English breakfast which was delicious. I will definitely be coming back here.

I stayed at Spree with a group for 4 nights. My room (#3 in the Green House) was quite nice PROS: -clean room -functioning plumbing (although water got on the floor due to shower head spraying everywhere). -The food is good -staff is kind and accommodating. -a/c works fine, mosquito net and fridge in the room -they offer laundry service -in room hair dryer, tv -plenty of hot water CONS -Internet is spotty, depending on what room you’re in -walls are thin and it was hard to sleep if people were outside or dog was barking (best to have a white noise sleep app on the phone) -lighting in the room is not great Overall, pretty nice. I’d stay here again, and would recommend it.

We booked several rooms at this guest house including the family room which had 2 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms. Very clean rooms. Beautiful gardens. Staff are outstanding especially, very helpful. Am afraid that’s where the good news ends. In the family guest room the plumbing was clearly an issue. It soon became clear that this was not a one off problem. One bathroom was flooded whilst the other bathroom the shower did not work and when it enventually worked everything become flooded. That was just on the first day. On the second day it just didn’t work we had to leave without a shower, mind you the director Mr Banda was very happy to charge full price for such poor services. Unfortunately his manager Miss Estelle was away and when I spoke to her she was apologetic. When I tried to contact Mr Banda to discuss my grievances, he simply ignored my phone calls and did not bother to contact me. I suspect he thinks very little of his clients as long as he’s got money out of them.…

The first time I visited Spree guest house, I was skeptical! But they did surprise me and I have since stayed there every time I am in Ndola! Its a small guesthouse with lovely gardens! The people are friendly! The rooms are clean and air-conditioned! If you are looking for a clean and quiet stay in Ndola at reasonable prices, spree guest house is the place to be! If you want your meals at the lodge however, i would advise you order in advance, in the morning so they can carter to your choice! I must say their Saturdays are not quiet as they host weddings/Kitchen parties! the rest of the days are usually nice and quiet.
