Lake Karina Inns is a great destination for families. The pools and slides are super fun- but they need to clean them more regularly. Aircon in the rooms also need servicing. Service was pretty good overall and food was really tasty!

I went to Lake Kariba I’m with hopes of getting some rest and relaxation and all we got was noise from several construction works. the Room was spacious and the bathrooms were lovely a. the mirrors were a favorite. The lovely pool side (advertised on their pages) that was a big determining factor for my place of stay, was under construction and the lodge could pause this during breakfast time so there was dust and noise during our morning breakfast, annoying. We couldn't have other meals in the restaurant, just room service and the food was good. What was the most annoying thing was none of this was communicated when making the booking and no charges were reduced to compensate this inconvenience. The alternative pool had old outdated furniture with holes. The only saving grace was that the views were amazing.

Had a great 3 night stay here, great food great service. The waiter even sang me happy birthday and wrote "happy birthday" on my desert. Truly had an amazing weekend. Just need improvement with the payment system, I had paid in advance but when checking out, they couldn't see my payment for some reason and delayed my trip out.
Otherwise, loved my mini vacation, we went swimming and quad biking nearby.

Well, they do have amazing infrastructure but the customer service needs alot of work. I booked 2 months before for a room with a lake view. Upon arrival they shifted me to another and stated that those lake view rooms were fully booked. We complained on the matter until we unanimously agreed that they could shift us to another room which wasn't to our expectation anyway. They also stated that since we have been downgraded, the balance of K450 could be used for meals (which we used). However upon check out, they told us we were oweing them K200 stating that our child was not included as part of the bill because having a child attracts a charge of K200 which we were not even told about on the onset. I was also disappointed with their breakfast which is not even a buffet arrangement. I just feel my experience at Kariba Inn was a "Cash Grab"

I would safely call myself a regular guest at Lake Kariba Inns. I was not going to post any review but as I was reading through other reviews I came across another guest who was also called for a cup. This happened to me as well. On all the occasions I stayed at Lake Kariba Inns I have never had the manager check on me, he will do table calls but skip our table for some reason. I am beginning to agree with the guest who spoke about racism too. It is such a beautiful place although the rooms are not very clean. We did not have hot water in the room on our last stay, we reported and someone came to the room and said it would be sorted out the next morning. No one came until we checked out. Housekeeping can do better, the chandeliers in the restaurant have cobwebs inside and the room was not spelling fresh. They also do not have hair dryers in the rooms, for a place with so much swimming that goes on I think a hair dryer would make sense. It seems the

It’s a beautiful and clean place to stay. Making my reservation was a nightmare they took forever to respond and were very rude. This was my 3 rd stay. Seems like the service depends who is on duty. the food wasn’t so great I asked and they said they got a new kitchen manager.. which is unfortunate because they have a lovely menu. And service is quick. One thing to note is theHEAT. It’s really hot so come prepared, they do have a gift shop incase you forget your sunscreen or swimwear.

The hotel is serene, with great views of the lake and nature around it. It offers a variety of scrumptious meals for the whole family. A lot of functional enrtainemnt areas are also available, from the swimming pools, Gym, Kids cinema and the boat experience was super. Keep up the good work.

Amazing resort-like ambience. Rooms are clean with good space in the bathroom. We stayed in one of the newer rooms which didn’t have a lake view, as informed when booking, but had outdoor seating on the small entry patio/veranda. Siavonga is hot and the air cons worked wonders cooling the rooms. Adequate tv channels to entertain family if needed. Pools and water slides provided endless entertainment for the kids! Dinning area and bar have beautiful views of the lake. Boat cruise with Mr Kelly was so much fun! Generally, staff were very polite and didn’t hesitate to assist us. The early check in was extremely appreciated as I had travelled with a baby and needed to settle in as soon as possible. Thanks to Rachel and Ngosa for guiding me on the rooms that would best suit my family and budget. We will definitely be back!

My partner and I arrived for a one night stay at Lake kariba inns in the afternoon. The reception was fine and we quickly went to the bar to have a drink. It was then that we realised that there was serious conduction going on. The main pool was being demolished. There was work going on constantly. The other pool was fine but lacking the same view that we would have had from the main pool. It was disappointing and we felt like we should at least been given a heads up from the receiption or an email ahead of time. When we inquired about the other 2 pools on the property, a staff member told us that they were not worth it. Still, we enjoyed the afternoon with nice and affordable cocktails. We had arrived just after the sunset cruise took off. It was quite affordable and we wished we had made it in time, though we were provided with plenty other options that weren't too pricey. We ultimately decided that since it was our only night there we would just relax and enjoy all that the property had to offer. At dinner, we shared the butchers platter which was plenty for 2 and quite nice. The desserts we ordered were not at the expected standard and we did not eat them. Our waitress seemed to be more afraid of management which seemed to stop her from providing excellent service and rectifying mistakes due to miscommunication. Our room had an enormous and comfortable bed, excellent air-conditioning, and a lovely shower. There was a tea and coffee station and a refrigerator. It was one of those rooms you never want to leave when on holiday. The next morning we arrived at a beautiful breakfast buffet with an abundance of food. Unfortunately the construction was going on loudly, but my partner learned from a manager that they were trying to have it ready for the Easter weekend (we can't wait to come back to check it out). We spent some more time by the pool and then walked around the property. There are beautiful views from all over and we highly recommend going for a walk. The gym facilities are also nice with views as well. We didn't get to use the tennis or squash courts but hope to next time. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here and will be back in the future.

I came here for a breakfast meeting while in in Siavonga and was really impressed by the quality of this hotel. Superb breakfast with a wide choice of fresh fruits, home baked muffins and pastries or a full cooked meal from the buffet. The good food was backed up by high quality service from a friendly team, and a wonderful view over the pool area on to Lake Kariba. I spoke to some guests while there and they told me they have been coming to stay at Lake Kariba Inn year after year and always have a good experience. I understand the pool area and deck are due to be remodelled and extended soon, and expect that this will further improve on what is already a very pleasant spot for a drink or meal.
