I loved Anabezi. The winter thorn forest settings made every animal have the most majestic backdrop! The rooms were absolutely stunning, massive with a gorgeous plunge pool-very much needed in a hot November-so nice to have an evening dip with a glass of wine! I loved the raised walkways as the game was all around. We had 4 buffalo sleeping outside our room and lions in camp! The wildlife in the area was incredible with elephant everywhere, 3 big male lions, females with cubs and leopards! Just magical! Thank you so much to Tara who is the hostess with the mostest! Food was delicious and my guide was top notch! I hope to be back!

Great location, great staff, great food, and supreme comfort! 3 nights were much too short. Don't usually post, but this location deserves highest praises for their superior comfort, care, food, and services!

I have been on many trips to Africa and travelled extensively all over and this is by way and away the best place I have stayed. The accomodation was luxurious and incredibly comfortable without losing the authentic safari feel. I was utterly blown away by the award winning food, such a treat to eat such refined and beautifully cooked food whilst staying at the lodge. The staff and guides were enthusiastic and incredibly accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. The guides knowlege of the area and wildlife is staggering. The wildlife was above and beyong anything I have seen in such a short period of time. Baby elephants, lion cubs and 3 differnt leopards. Not to mention the wealth of birds and much much more. Canoeing is an activity not to be missed and the best way to see life on the Zambezi. Zambia is truly a hidden gem and totally authentic and unspoilt. I could not reccomend Anabezi and Amanzi lodge more.

Anabezi was our favorite camp while in Africa. The accommodations are beautiful, right on the river, up on stilts and a boardwalk. The rooms are luxurious and very large. The main lodge has a wonderful bar, many seating areas and even a telescope. The food was always delicious with a menu that can suit all types. Our guide, Lawrence, was fantastic! He is so knowledgeable about the animals, land, fauna and environment. He also had a great sense of humor. We saw so many animals on all the game drives. It was hard to believe the territory was so huge yet it seemed like every time we turned a corner there were more animals. Dinner one night in a dry riverbed was magical albeit we were a little apprehensive at first (we didn't want to be the meal). Tara and the rest of the staff were wonderful. Always making sure everything was perfect. I can't imagine a higher quality camp!

This was the last stop our 12 night trip around Zambia and well worth the wait. A fantastic location where you can relax outside your room and watch the animals stroll by or in our case get an up close visit from an elephant who managed to drop a branch in our outside shower. Comfortable accommodation, friendly staff and excellent food together with some great animal sightings made for a very memorable experience. Recommend fitting in as many experiences as you can - driving, walking, boating safaris plus some great fishing.
