We spent 4 nights here in early May, which is considered to still be a bit early for the season however we were pleasantly suprised. So many highlights, top of the list - easy access with Royal Air from Lusaka or Livingstone: All guests have their own private guide and vehicle or boat - depending on your activity, so no...

Hi Katina WOW - you blew us away with this incredible review - thank you SO much! It was an absolute pleasure having you in camp and an even greater pleasure having you part of the Royal family. The Royal Zambezi Lodge is blessed by its location down on the Zambezi river in the Lower Zambezi National Park. When you fly into the Royal airstrip you realise how fantastically isolated this lodge is and it is truly a stunning place. There are plenty of opportunities to see crocs, hippos, lions, impala and elephant and the experience of being...

My wife, son, aunt and I came from Lusaka for a long weekend and had an amazing experience. The staff learned our name and made us feel at home form the moment we arrived, including and especially my son, who felt like a celebrity throughout his entire stay. The safari guides are incredibly knowledgeable and their significant training is pretty...

We had an amazing stay at Royal Zambezi, a lodge that truly encompasses the luxurious, unspoilt wilderness and most importantly magic of the Lower Zambezi. Highlights included a private lunch on a sandbank in the middle of the river, a bush dinner under the stars and spectacular wildlife sightings (9 lions, a cobra and 100s of elephants!). ALL the staff...

We had an exceptional time at Royal Zambezi Lodge. The staff are second to none, paying attention to us throughout our stay we also left with some great new friendships. The food was fantastic and the lodge surprised us by organising on one night for the dinner to be served for us all under the stars in the bush. It...

This is without arguement the best lodge in the region! The food is absolutely brilliant and the service us second to none. Billy and Victor looked after us both at the lodge and on the river and national park.

We had a lovely " Wellness Weekend", promoting health and fitness at the Royal Zambezi lodge. The environment was just so stimulating - our instructor prepared some lovely Pilates classes on the pool deck and we even managed an evening Yoga class on an Island beach. It was so refreshing and a truly wonderful exercise experience in the wild. To...

This is a truly spectacular Lodge with the warmest of staff. The accommodation is more than comfortable, with ample space. I love the outdoor shower and your own personal swimming pool. The food is outstanding, with lunch being my favourite, a variety of lots of lovely healthy salads. The staff are extremely helpful and so kind. This is perfect place...

We booked 4 nights here following a 5 day safari in Kruger National Park. It was exactly the right thing to do. The resort is located on the Zambezi River about 20 miles north of Victoria Falls. It's hard to believe but this is truly a 5 star resort with a 5 star restaurant on site. Half of the resort...

Thank you very much for your fantastic review. We are thrilled that you had such a fantastic holiday and enjoyed Zambia, and some of it's many wonders. Although we wish this review was for our property, I believe you were writing a review of Royal Chundu in Livingstone? We are based in the Lower Zambezi National Park, still in Zambia...
