If you want a 5 star getaway paired with all the beauty Africa has to offer, this is it. Found in the heart of one of Zambia’s best game parks - Lower Zambezi. The property and the rooms are tastefully designed, giving a feel of luxury and homeliness. Josh the manager made our stay ever so special with warm hospitality and excellent service, assisted by his top class team. The meals coming out the kitchen were also fantastic. Would definitely go back!

This was the most wonderful experience- the beauty of this camp enhances the beauty of this powerful river . Luxurious accommodation on the waters edge. Fabulous sunset boating trips. Excellent fishing guides with extreme patience but the best was the knowledge of the guides of the local flora and fauna.

We visited Zambezi Grande in September, 2023 with our two grown children. It was an unparalleled experience. We made the mistake of driving from Lusaka; wouldn't recommend that. Once we finally arrived, we were warmly greeted and happily surprised to be the only guests. The food and drinks were delicious; they remembered our favorite drinks everywhere we went. Our kids enjoyed the pool and fishing. The rooms were elegant, functional, and very comfortable. Service was great; we so appreciated the inclusion of laundry services. The safaris were the highlight with our two guides; they were magnificent at finding animals for us to observe day and night. Highly recommend the Zambezi Grande for anyone looking for an amazing safari experience with all the comforts imaginable.

Had an awesome time at Zambezi Grande. The food is some of the best I have had in Lower Zambezi, very well presented and tasty. The rooms are beautiful and we had one of the best game drives with amazing sightings. The staff was so welcoming and helpful. A relaxing and exciting experience all in one.

One of most favorite safari locations. Beautiful location and scenery, amazing game drives and river safaris, experienced and knowledgeable guides. Accommodations and food/beverage are top notch. Staff is exceptional with personal attention and detailed oriented. Location is convenient to the park entrance and to the local landing strip.

I cannot recommend Zambezi Grande more; it was a special stay from the warm welcome until the heartfelt goodbye. This was the first time to Africa for my husband and 13 year old son. We were all spoiled the entire week of our stay. We were offered many activities including game drivers, fishing, walking safari, in room spa treatments, a cultural visit to a local village and an educational visit to the conservationist. We loved every minute of our stay. It's hard to pinpoint the best things about Zambezi Grande as there were so many. The staff being led by Josh Isaacs was professional, attentive, accommodating and very well educated in the world of animals and local habitat. They treated you like family and you always felt safe and well informed. The food and beverage was at the top of our list and Zambezi Grande did not disappoint. The haute cuisine was a true gastronomical delight. This was definitely a standout compared to other like lodges I've been to in my travels. The wine selection was incredible and you felt like you were in a Michelin rated restaurant that just happened to be in one of the most beautiful places in the world. The Zambezi Grande made our Africa trip. Having traveled all around the world to luxury resorts/lodges, it is apparent how much care and work the new General Manager, Josh has put into making this an incredible property (he is one of the best GMs we have ever met!). Food: The best food we had during our 2 week trip in Africa. It was super high quality and delicious. We loved the surprise dinner in the African bush, as well as our game drive lunch by a river. Beverages were also great - awesome cocktails and finely curated wine list. 11/10. Room: Absolutely stunning. The lodge was recently renovated and the rooms are impeccable. Very tasteful and comfortable. Game Drives and Safari Walk: We had great game drives! From wild dogs, zebra, elephants, leopards, lions, buffalo, birds, etc. the lower Zambezi had SO much to offer.
