Let's start with the outstanding guides who are knowledgeable, friendly and still get excited viewing wildlife. We saw several prides, feeds on kills and 5 or 6 leopards in three days. Our guide was Andrew and he was fun to be around. We are hoping...More
I just want to say thank you to Paul and the staff for making our visit amazing. The guides here really know everything about the bush and the wildlife. We saw wild dogs, at least one leopard a night and a small lion fight. The...More

Everything written about the Lion Camp is true. The food is excellent. The location is remote and rustic. The park out-performs expectations. The availability of wildlife boarders on the ridiculous. The guides were extremely knowledgeable. This was our first safari. We are ruined for life.

Thank you for your question. South Luangwa is a fantastic place to go on safari and I would highly recommend you visit the area while in Zambia. Lion Camp is unable to take bookings for children under the age of 7, however, there are a few lodges in the South Luangwa that accept children of all ages including Kapani, Chichele Presidential Lodge, Flatdogs, Mfuwe Lodge and Robin's House. I hope you are able to book a safari with one of these excellent lodges.
