Stopped in for one night and were the only guests. Decided to rent a bungalow ($26 usd or so) rather than camp due to the cold temps and wind. Great decision! The bungalow we were given had three bedrooms and two baths. Six twin beds total. Blue gas stove, sink, fridge, deep freezer, and all of the accessories that one could need. Small shop at check in with a small selection of goods. Sandwiches available. Laundry is also available at about $3 USD per kilo. The facility did have WiFi but the bungalow was too far away to make it usable.

While the place is simple, it is an experience not to be missed! Kind and friendly staff also.

Showers were great. Power and water remained on all night.

Wind howled all night. Surely added to the desolate feel!

It will remind you a bit of something from Mad Max…but it’s cool. We’d stay again for sure.

We just discovered this place passing by, while driving through the skeleton coast. The place, which is frequented by fishermans, is clean, lonely, in front of the sea, with almost nobody there. The manager was very kind and attentive to us. The campsites are provided with own table, sink, lateral windstoppers, and a little private bathroom with shower. No noises but the sound of the ocean. Next to the camp you can find a "spa" and a salt pan that ii's worth stopping by. I can only say that was one of the best campsites during the trip. The coast is just breathtaking and you really feel away from everything. The absolutely Nowhere!

"You only need to stop by. The essence of minimalism, it's just you and the ocean and just a few hosts. A hidden gem."
