We enjoyed our stay here tremendously, staff attention was perfect, positioning was perfect, night skies were spectacular, swimming pool and spa were lovely. Food was good but could be improved. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable, but very dark, they definitely need more light. Sunsets...More

Great hotel with luxuriously large rooms (about 40-50sqm/400-500sqft) and small balcony. Very friendly staff (esp. at restaurant). Internet very slow as this runs via a satellite link. Pool is OK but quite small. Sundowner drinks are a great experience - you can observe the weirdest...More

Pros - The setting in the middle of nothing and the building itself, like and oasi in the desert - The room quite spacious and with a wonderful view Cons - The 24/7 noise coming from the generator breaks the peace of the desert and...More

Thank you for staying at le Mirage. We are quite surprised about your review. Le Mirage is known for it's fine cuisine and (5-round) diners. Also our generator is located quite far from the lodge, to ensure it's impossible to hear it inside the rooms....More

Staff went out of their way to accommodate our small children, e.g. early and quick dinner. Superior service of all staff, taking ownerships. lots of management involvement and oversight. all in all the best experience of our holiday.

A very good stay (1 night) in an outstanding landscape and perfect facility (when the very remote location is taken into account). Great people, gorgeous patio (swimming pool, jacuzzi, spa), nice food. Really a place to stay and relax! Only negative point: wifi actually never...More

Thank you for staying at le Mirage. We are most grateful for your 5-star review. During your stay, there were indeed some wifi problems, because of the (remote) Internet infrastructure. Thank you for your understanding. We hope to welcome you back soon.

Hi. There is a small airstrip just a few kilometers from the lodge. Small planes (like Cesna's) can land there. It's fast and a beautiful flight, but also a more expensive option (compared to self-drive). It is also possible... More
