Lovely concept, but sadly felt a little over-commercialised. There was nowhere calm and relaxing to sit and chill out. The pool and bar areas had loud, lively music playing all the time. There was nowhere to sit comfortably as all the few lounge chairs were filled quickly so we attempted the high bar stools for a little while then gave...

Our stay was excellent, the only negative comment that we had experience is that one has to wait too long before check in, especially if you arrive there before 14h00. We sat near the pool and some guests started smoking without asking if they could.. that was a big thumbs down for non-smokers like us.

Le Mirage is located just next to the gravel road, but it does not affect negatively the comfort that it offers. Architecture is unusual for Namib Desert, but thanks to massive, stone walls, it is not hot - you feel great comfort. Rooms are really huge and many of them offers great view into the Desert and 2 of them...

This hotel was a substitute for our tour's usual stop. Without exception all our group had multiple deficiencies in our rooms, ranging from non-working plumbing (no hot water or all hot water), inadequate air conditioning, a murky swimming pool where drinks were served in glass, erratic wifi, no door on the bathrooms and room lighting so dim one could not...

Nothing to complain, except for the pool, which was really really dirty during our stay! The water wasn't clear at all and It was quite bad not being able to use the pool in such a hot weather... It didn't bothered us, but the hotel is about 18kms away from the park entrance (20 minutes). Some other hotels are located...

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We appreciate your feedback, and are most concerned that we didn't deliver the experience for which we are renowned concerning our pool. We trust that most of the positives have contributed to fond memories of your stay.

I traveled a lot and Le Mirage is really among the best hotels/lodges I ever stayed in. Breakfast, lunch and diner were delicous, the room was very spacious and comfortable, with a stunning view over the desert. The squad tour at the end of the day is very recommandable. The location is just perfect, beautiful and ideally located for a...

We had an excellent stay in Le Mirage with wonderful service especially in the restaurant. A superbe 5 course menue was included as well as a rich breakfast, the rooms are generous. Thanks for a wonderful stay in the desert.

Le Mirage is simply beautiful in terms of location, service, food and general experience. The team clearly work very hard together to deliver to exacting standards. A very warm welcome and great attention all the way through our short stay. I really recommend this spot - it is stunning and watching the sun set over the desert is - well...

While visiting the area, our group was booked at this facility for two nights. Poor decision. First, the staff was anything but attentive. Our presence seemed to be a nuisance to the folks at reception. Our room had no electricity upon entering. Faulty circuit breaker. Happened a second time as well. Safe never worked. Although on it's lowest setting and...

It was most unfortunate that you experienced problems during your stay. Our lodge is located in the middle of the desert, so all electricity comes from our own generators. This is why most other accommodations don't even have A/C's. We have A/C's, but in the middle of summer, they can't achieve very low temperatures. We are sorry to hear they...

We stayed for two nights at this spectacular desert resort. Our room was very large, perhaps some 45 sqm, with a genuine desert fort design. The location is amazing and the service very professional. We had dinner and breakfast included as well as a 6-hour morning sightseeing tour to Dune 45 and Death Valley. Only small issue: We were incorrectly...
