Nestling in a timeless valley is the Vingerklip Lodge on the 3000 ha Farm ¨Bertram". The unbelievable landscape was formed by an glacier more than 300 million years ago. Today we take pride in looking after the environment and conserving the natural beauty of the untouched nature . Either relax at either our sun-upper or sun-downer pool, spot the wildlife from Ingrids Blick or do one of our hikes. Alternatively you can explore the surrounding area by doing your own day-trips - just ask Reinhard for some tips. The 11 double unit thatched bungalows comprising 22 rooms with en suite bathrooms, air-conditioning and are individually furnished and equipped to satisfy all travelers requirements.Each unit has a private terrace to complete the atmosphere of relaxation and tranquility. Eight of the units offer loft accommodation for two children each.

We stayed one night, but quickly regretted not staying longer. A very beautiful lodge with friendly staff, beautiful rooms with superb views, a nice garden and pool. Do not miss out on the Eagle's Nest, which is a unique experience!

This is a very beautiful Lodge with nice and clean and typical african rooms! The view all around an exspecally from the Eagles Nest is spectaculair. The lunch and the breakfast was very good! We loved to stay here!

We stayed at this lodge for 1 night. The individual „huts“ were amazing, all had an African decor. Something not to miss is dinner at the Eagles Nest restaurant. The walk/climb to get there is in itself part of the experience. Reservations required! Where as it was overcast all day, the sun came out just before setting and illuminated the famous Vingerklip rock. Before departing someone washed our car. Nice gesture and worth a few Nab-dollar.

the setting is breathtaking and the lodge itself beautiful with lots of room for mingling and relaxing. The staff is abundant, attentive and helpful. Our experience would have been even better if the staff would have reason to smile more often.

This lodge is located in a wonderful landscape. Rooms are cozy and well furbished and they are installing air conditioning systems in every room. It really deserves the time for a stop, unfortunately we could spend there one night only.

We only had time to stay at Vingerklip one night but wish it had been longer so we could have done some of the incredible walks the area offers. Reserved a table for dinner at the restaurant situated high up on the rock which was an occasion in it's self. The views and sunsets from this lodge would probably rate as amongst the more spectacular in the world. Hope we can return there one day and spend more time.

The main loge was beautiful the position was also wonderful but the rooms were not very nice to much old fashion fabric heavy and dated the bed was too small all the fabric was a magnet for mosquitos ,, Nets were messy they could be improved get ride of the overdressed room it will feel fresher and less claustrophobic needs AC urgently

traveling on that road you will not expect to find such a comfortable place, such hospitality amazing views, wonderful and refreshing swimming pools, on summer of course. And you have the opportunity to make a good exercise before dinner. And a word for the staff, congrats

Nicely decorated and comfortable lodge in a beautiful setting and with a pleasant swimming pool. At various spots with nice views one could sit down and relax. During our stay the airconditioning was already installed but regrettably not yet in working order, although a ceiling fan helped to cool down.

Vingerklip situated in the Namibian desert northwest of Windhoek. Great lodge, very modern conveniences with two swimming pools, two spectacular dining rooms and amazing landscape. We were there just one night, but could have stayed for three. Very nice helpful staff.
