Busua Beach Resort is in the perfect location situated right on one of the most beautiful beaches in Ghana. You can walk straight out of your air-conditioned room into a warm, clear sea. The beach is clean and well maintained. The rooms are spacious, clean and well furnished with a large Queen-sized comfortable bed - I wish it had some African furnishings, so that you knew you were in Ghana! The pool was great for a swim, although one of the pools was green! The staff are helpful and friendly. The only thing that let it down was the food, which was very disappointing. Sitting in the bar overlooking the sea was magical, it just would have been better with better food and a fresh pineapple smoothie!!

Room Tip: Sadly, I’d have to say avoid the food! The breakfast was dull, there were no fresh pineapple...

Amazing place - far from Accra. A remote place for those sekund adventure, surfing and lobster for breakfast lunch and dinner. Amazing people and amazing environment.
Breakfast sucks, rooms are a bit rough but why does it mattet. This is a place you must visit.

This place has some really great potential. The staff is excellent. The location on the beach cannot be matched. Very nice pool. The grounds were well manicured and there is a nice second floor exercise room with an ocean view.

The resort could use some maintenance. The shower door was broken, the shower wand hanger was broken off and the shower drained poorly. Very grainy TV reception in the room. Most of the buildings could use a good painting.

All in all, we enjoyed our stay. The resort is just steps away from a street with several places to eat. I highly recommend Mimi’s Kitchen.

Went there with friends to celebrate our last night. Waited two and a half hours and foods still not come. Had to leave eventually as the others had plans. Waited over an hour for glasses for my drink even after asking several members of staff. One pool is okay but extremely deep (8ft), the other pool was green. Sunbed I was on was broken, and drinks by the pool included a long wait time as well, 30 minutes at a bar waiting. Overall not a great time. No sure why it's so well reviewed, when we went to complain the manager just stood there with a grin on his face, didn't offer us anything even after everything. He seemed like this services was completely normal. Would not recommend. If I could give no stars I would.

It is important not to go to busua beach resort if you value your belongings.i had an experience and it was really disturbing.i left my room locked up and returned only to find my luggage searched and my wallet and new mobile phone stolen only when the room attendant was the only one who accessed the room in my absence. Security is so poor that even after a whole week not even a lead was found after having provided the evidence in writing.what is most disturbing is that management is triggering their disclaimer even when my room was locked throughout.a few other people's belongings were also missing around that same time.i wouldn't recommend such a place for travellers otherwise you will be ripped off tour belongings and nothing can be done about it.no CCTV cameras installed, security patrol not effective.its really a shame.

Excellent resort with good prices and friendly staff. Breakfast is bountiful and flavorful. Ron’s are well maintained and quite large. The beach goes on for miles great for walking and shell searching. Clean. Located in a great little town.

Fanatastic place, we stayed in room directly at the waterfront. Really good rooms situated in "bungalow styled" facilitates with 3 rooms per house. Good service, cleaings every day. Access to free WiFi, and gym. Good pool area, with 3 pools
In the low sesaon the hotel was very empty. Restaurant good with a varity of international and local dishes.

I wanted to have lunch at Busua beach resort but the staff refused to give wi fi code, saying that I have to pay for it! Of course, I left. Greediness does not bring anything good. Maybe it is good to stay in Busua but there is nothing to do except beach...

We saw their powerfull jetskis at the beach and needed to take them for a ride.

Although we came after operating hours and didn't even stay at the ressort the staff was so friendly and made an exception for us. They worked extra hours to allow us this sunset ride and the manager himself helped getting the jetski into the water for us.

Rarely did we experience such a service on our journeys. Thanks a lot!!!

Busua beach is one of the best beaches you can have a good time at. Clean surroundings, life guards everywhere! Your safety is assured! I'm definitely going back.
Food tastes great, yeah they have pools for kids and adults and also have a playground for kids. Security is also great there, don't worry about your stuff.
