My son and I stayed at the Homewood Suites for over 2 weeks so that he could quarantine before starting college (due to New York State requirements for people coming from out of state). The hotel was absolutely great. Nice living room and dining area with kitchenette and separate bedroom made for a very comfortable stay at a fairly reasonable price. The room setup was great for us both to be able to work (him on a summer class, me for my job) during the day and then relax watching TV and movies at night. The hotel provided a box breakfast each day with packaged items like an egg and sausage breakfast sandwich (to microwave in the room), cinnamon roll, fruit, and juice/milk with choices. We also ordered groceries from Wegmans down the street and they delivered to the lobby and we picked up the groceries completely contactless. Although we hardly saw any of the staff since we stayed quarantined in the room, everyone was extremely friendly on phone and would pick up our trash outside the room and drop off extra paper towels or other needs. Alex at the front desk was terrific and would drop off our breakfast order to our door most mornings so we didn’t even need to leave the room. Windows opened nicely to get fresh air and the air conditioning was great from wall vents (not those noisy units under the window like in some hotels). I would walk around the property in the evening to get some exercise (always staying distant from others with a mask) and it felt very safe and there is a pretty field and basketball court with picnic table behind the building. There is a lovely courtyard in the middle of the building with a fire pit. We never sat out in the courtyard unfortunately since there always seemed to be people sitting out without masks. My only irritation was the last two days after we had completed the quarantine and started circulating a bit more, we kept seeing guests in the halls and lobby without masks, even though there are signs everywhere saying to wear masks in public areas. Not the hotel’s fault, but come on people! Please have more courtesy to other hotel guests and employees serving you to wear a mask! It’s really not that hard to do for the few minutes when you are going to get ice or walking through the lobby before going to your car! Overall terrific hotel - just wish all of the guests were considerate of others.

stayed in home wood suite in July 2023. we selected as it was a 2 bed 2 bath suite for our family. the hotel is approximately 5 minutes from the airport via car. there is free ample parking parking, there is a 7 11 near the hotel. the check in was on line room was ready. it was clean with full kitchen along with cutlery and utensils, microwave and oven. the hotel has hot breakfast daily with scrambled eggs, waffle station and free juices, jam and jellies, butter, honey and cream cheese for the bagels. there was a pool and gym that we did not try. there was minor issues one of the rooms had an area with water leak on the floor (carpet covered through out) there was also a centipede in the tub at the time of check in (see picture)

We are a Canadian family that visited the US for the first time and decided to stay at a Homewood as this is our hotel chain of choice.
We arrived early at 2 pm. Check in is not until 3, however, we decided to try early. The front desk employee advised us that it was not ready, which was completely understandable. We said we would go get something to eat and then come back and she said she would call us when it was ready. 330 pm and still no call but we went to see. That specific employee was on the phone so the gentleman working advised us that it still was not ready. He seemed quite annoyed that we were checking in and made no effort to apologize for the inconvenience of still not having a room ready AFTER check in. Actually, every time we had to interact with him, he acted as if we were bothering him. I am just not used to this type of behavior as normally hotel employees are very friendly and accommodating. Our room was finally ready after 4, but it was obviously cleaned in a hurry as there was an empty water bottle under the couch and crumbs throughout the room.
The pool and hot tub were freezing and many guests vocalized their dissatisfaction and that same employee rudely advised that maintenance would be looking into it with no ETA or even an apology.
There were 2 shower heads as they put us in a room that was equipped for a wheelchair. One shower head was literally hanging and the other one had little to no pressure.
We stayed for 5 nights and our room was only serviced once and it was the night before we left and all they did was empty the garbage's and provide a few extra towels. We had to ask for toilet paper a few times. We were told our room would be cleaned and it never happened.
We were completely ignored by staff on more than one occasion.
The breakfast staff was very friendly and we definitely appreciated them.
All in all, it was not a positive experience. I have never written a review before and we have stayed at Homewood/Hilton's for at least 20 years. This was a terrible experience and left us very disappointed, especially since we spent almost $2000 Canadian for accommodations.

The hotel is in need of an upgrade. Our room was old, the furniture was old, needed to be replaced. The beds were ok, pretty soft for me, but passable. The bathroom only had 2 towels in it, there were 2 of us and we were there for 2 days. The caulking around the tub was dirty, looked moldy, needed a good deep cleaning. The whole room needed painting. I made the reservation months in advance, asked for an upper floor room (safety concerns), but when I checked in we were given room 125 (I believe), it was right next door to the pool. They told me they were booked and that is all that was available. We ended up getting extra towels from the pool (which by the way looked like it needed to be cleaned). The security lock on our room door, was loose, it was barely hanging on, let alone give anyone any security. I am a Hiltons honor member and frankly was very disappointed with everything about the hotel and the room. I will never stay there again. There are 2 things that I will say were good - the breakfast was good and the women running it were extremely nice and helpful. The other plus is the TV was easy to use and figure out. I appreciated that. So many times you can't figure out how to even use the TV. There are plenty of other hotels in the area. I come to the area frequently, and will definitely look into staying at one of the many hotels in the area.

We had a reservation for one night on November 11 at Homewood Suites by Hilton Buffalo - Airport. Unfortunately, our stay was far below Hilton's usual standards. Upon arrival, we experienced a delay at check-in due to a key-making issue, which was understandable. However, the following issues arose:
Room 325 Issues: The fireplace and TV were not functioning. The toilet had visible pee and blood stains. We promptly called the front desk. We were told someone from maintenance and housekeeping would assist us. After waiting for an hour with no assistance, we called again, only to be informed that no staff from maintenance or housekeeping were available.
Room Change to 323: The toilet in this room was also dirty upon arrival. The housekeeping staff initially tried to resolve it by flushing the toilet, but we had to point out the stains before it was properly cleaned. The TV in this room was also non-functional, requiring the manager to fix it personally. Due to the significant inconvenience caused, the manager promised a full refund for our stay. However, it has been over a week, and no refund has been processed.
When we try contacting the hotel: The front desk staff, claiming to be the manager, is rude and unhelpful. Calls are placed on hold for 20–30 minutes with no resolution. They have not returned our calls despite taking our callback number. When asked for the manager’s email, they were uncooperative and made it extremely difficult to obtain the correct information. This has been the most disappointing experience we’ve had with Hilton. As Gold Members, we have always trusted and enjoyed your brand, but this stay has left us with deep regret.

My husband, myself and our 3 children stayed 2 nights in a King suite. I booked the room for 5 of us as we requested a roll away bed. Hotel appears clean and we'll appointed. However, at check I was informed that this hotel did away with roll away beds. Well that's a pickle since there aren't enough beds for 5 people and they were booked full. Upon seeing our room my eldest son volunteered to sleep on the sofa cushions after the bed was pulled out. Great, all we needed was bedding. We went to the front desk and asked for bedding. The woman told us there wasn't any extra as they were booked full. I called her out that they didn't have a single blanket available in the whole hotel and she told me they " have some ordered but due to COVID they are back ordered". I can't make this crap up. Would not get us any bedding. Now on to the pool area. No towels. Asked same lady for towels, she started she'd bring some in. 2 days later still no towels, even after asking again and again. Rooms are a bit run down. We reported some minor maintenance issues to the same woman and she stated they were well aware of the issues but because they are planning to update the hotel non of those issues worried be taken care of. So I paid for a room with issues they wouldn't fix, had my son sleep on the floor without bedding ( we took the duvet off the bed for a blanket and turned up the heat) and plodded through the hotel soaking wet. The kicker was I decided to look at the website and found available rooms... Never Again. This is the second Homewood Suites we will be marking off our list. Absolutely ridiculous to not give guests a blanket and to blame it on COVID. The breakfast was also terrible.

I have been staying at this location consistently throughout 2023 and it has not disappointed. The beds are comfortable, the hotel is well kept, and the breakfast contains all the basic needs. Although moving into spring, the fireplaces in some rooms are a great touch point. The Wednesday receptions are a nice break midweek to simply hang out for the evening.
The workout areas are clean, the machines are in good shape as is the pool area. You will hear jets, it's near the airport!!

This is a good Homewood near the Buffalo airport. There is another Homewood up in Amherst that is about 5-8 minutes away. From this hotel, it’s about - 35 min trip to Niagara Falls. The hotel has a nice dining area with a decent amount of choices for breakfast. The pool area was nice and clean along with the fitness center. The room was very clean and roomy. The free Wifi is your standard 7-10 Meg connection. Overall, it was pretty slow, so I’d advise spending the $4.95 per day and get the faster internet option, especially if you want to stream. The free internet will slow down in the evening due to capacity of the network. Overall, a very good Hilton property and we would stay there again.

Just got back from a one night stay at this wonderful property. Yes, it may be dated but it is very well maintained. And what's also important is they have excellent staff. As a Hilton Diamond member, room was upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite; comes with one bedroom king bed. second bedroom with 2 double beds, two bathrooms, living and kitchen Also was able to get late checkout upon request. Rooms were huge, clean, well maintained !
Plenty of parking spots in the property. Property is very close to grocery, shopping complex.
What I also found absolutely amazing is that during the breakfast the kitchen staff went out of their way to specially prepare something different for us as we couldn't eat the savory items served due religious reason. This is extremely rare and much appreciated.
I am looking forward to staying at this property in the future again. Thank you for making our stay absolutely enjoyable.
