The completely rebuilt Selinda Camp reopened in June 2019! The new Selinda Camp represents the meeting place of three cultures; European, Mokololo and Bayei and is themed to resemble that of the thatched village of Sangwali, one that used to house 3,000 warriors and sufficient enough to loan David Livingstone 200 men during his travels. Spears, shields and an African version of Robinson Crusoe is the enduring theme through the camp, and its architectural design elements center around Water, Air, Earth, and Fire, all of which ground the design.

This is just a dream in the delta. Our thatched chalets were luxuriously furnished with artifacts, including doors and huge brass bowls from Indonesia, but the pool in front with the lagoon full of elephant and hippo was pure Botswana. The food and service and our tour guide were excellent. We could never have have afforded such a place except for the 80% Covid discount. But sometimes opportunity knocks on you door. A wonderful place.

My wife and I made good use of the C-19 tourism lockdown and resultant local special promos and visited this ultra lux camp for 4 nights. We have experience of lodges like this before. Selinda was absolutely stunning and caters for all you needs and more. Very luxurious - even air-con in your "tent". It has private everything - pool, view, dining, game drives. Ask for tent no3 - very pvt. The staff were amazing, extremely friendly and efficient especially management (Mike, Anike (?), Ron, Alex) and Front-of House, Ram. The chef, Tiaan and his 2IC, Thuli produced the most amazing dishes which were the highlight of the trip - they need special mention. As it was a local promo and very much reduced in price, we were not privy to dip into their extensive wine cellar (pity!!!) but were pre-warned and allowed to bring our own - not an issue. By far the biggest disappointment was our guide Jobs. He was distant, not engaged, only interacted when prompted, no personality at all. We asked for a bush walk and got exactly 1km in the middle of the sticks on the last morning. Not worth the tip he got. Just hope you don't end up with him. 4 night were too long in one camp - max 3 nights per camp or do 2 nights split over different camps in other areas. Will we recommend Selinda - if you can afford the $-price - yes, yes!!! - they ONLY get a 4-rating because of the guide

Absolutely stunning place. Private, cozy and personal service from the staff. They cater for all your needs. The game drives and guided and suit your preferences. The food was fantastic. We booked the family suite which had two en-suite bedrooms, each with wifi, a plunge pool and deck overlooking the river.

We had a superb 3 days at this wonderful, luxurious camp. The staff were extremely helpful and efficient. The food was fantastic. Our guide Vundi went out of his way to give us lifetime memories. The lion and leopard sightings were sublime. All in all, a highly memorable few days. Thank you to the entire team.

My husband planned a trip with me and a few family friends to celebrate my 30th. It was nothing short of amazing. We had two luxury tents and the Main Selinda Suite which I stayed in , it was absolute luxury !! From the vintage finishing to immaculate rooms and ofcourse phenomenal views ! We were treated and pampered by the camp hosts! Mr Ram made us hot masala chai everyday and on every game drive ! Kenny the chef was amazing with his dishes and prepared me the most amazing dessert platter for my 30th celebration ,the rest of the staff were so receptive helpful and kind !! Mr Name- our game ranger was an incredible tracker ! He made the experience all worthwhile. Thank you to the Selinda Suite Camp Managers and Staff for an unforgettable memorable experience !We hope to be back soon !!!
