From the time we arrived at Pont Drift border crossing to find we had to take a cable car across the river due to high water until we flew out of Limpopo Valley Airport as the President of Botswana was landing, our 4 days at Mashatu Main Camp was amazing. The entire staff made us feel like royalty. They knew...

We visited 3 game reserves on our recent trip to Africa. Mashatu was truly exceptional due to their amazing customer service. Every interaction whether it was the bartender, or the game drive staff, or the assistant manager was genuine and enjoyable. We were traveling with a larger group (13) and our group simply didn't want to leave the dinner table...

A place that is so fine in every detail, particularly the driver and spotters. The entire operation is flawless with the very competent staff and particular the front of staff who is responsible for the food, which was very tasty and well presented. The only problem you leave with is how fast can you plan to return, it is the...

We stayed here in December 2016 for two nights and had a fantastic experience despite the rain (I know Botswana needs rain but it doesn't make for the best photographs!)...... Still we managed 4 separate leopard sightings, cheetah with 3 cubs and numerous other sightings in just 3 game drives. Dan our guide was excellent as was the tracker who...

Mashatu Main Camp, Tuli Block, offers high quality of all services in this wild corner of the Botswana bush. My wife and I have visited may be 50 different camps and lodges all over southern Africa. Mashatu is - in our judgement - among the best of the lodges. Staff in general seems to love the place also, as many...

This past summer I travelled with my family to Tuli Block, Botswana, home to hundreds of species of different birds, three lion prides, many parades of elephants, and of course endless impala and other deer-like animals. The largest reserve in this region is Mashatu, which offers many accommodations tailoring to different families ideas of life in the Savannah. In my...

Mashatu Safari camp has two locations--the main camp in luxurious accommodations with a small museum on-site and the Mashatu Tent Camp--all located on a 75,000 acre property in the Northern Tuli Game Reserve--at the eastern tip of Botswana--between Zimbabwe and the Rep. of South Africa. The geography is breathtaking--Mopane and Shepherd trees in grassy velds--we visited at start of rainy...

Fro the moment of our arrival at Limpopo Airport where we were picked up by our wonderful guide Kinoshi and taken to Mashatu Main Camp where we were greeted by Congo, The Manager and his most delightful staff our trip and stay was an absolute delight. Our safaris were truly wonderful and memorable and enormous care was taken to track...

I THOUGHT it would be a once in a lifetime experience. But so many people here were repeat visitors, and now I understand why. I may be back as well. Truly, a magical place. Start with the wildlife of course. The guide (Eric) and his tracker (Aaron) were both friendly, skilled, and patient. They helped us to see Impalas, Bushbucks,...

So many visitors have praised the camp for its location, wildlife viewing, comfortable accommodation, food and service. I totally agree. Five rating is justified if not for a few issues. To emphasise the importance of correcting these I have given a '3'. I hope management will take it in the spirit I have written it, specially because I intend coming...
