This wonderful Budget/Economy rated Rustic Guesthouse is situated 168Km from Cape Town, in Gansbaai, Western Cape. It is nestled in the quiet village of De Kelders, famous for southern right whales, white shark diving and sunny beaches with pristine natural beauty. Nearby are hiking trails and cliff paths. Fishing, swimming and canoe excursion on the sea.We are situated within easy reach to Cape Agulhas, southern tip of Africa. Elim, Stanford and Hermanus are places to visit on day trips.All bedrooms are fitted out with twin beds,TV,Fan, heating,wardrobe and got en-suite bathroom consist of shower, toilet and had basin. A Seperate Shared Bathroom consist of a bath, basin and toilet are available for those who prefer to bath. Comfortable lounge's and patio are available for guests. Breakfast is severed at 8h00 and are included in the room rate. We strive to give comfortable, affordable, budget, economy accommodation to all our budget guests. Please note we do have 2 weltrained pets on the premises. Your are most welcome to visit.

Johannes is the friendliest and warmest host you could hope to find anywhere on your travels. He truly enjoys hosting people in his lovely home and it shows in the way he takes care of his guests. The home is situated about 5 minutes drive away from the shark cage diving harbour and not far from the coast where you can spend some time watching the whales. The rooms are well appointed and very clean. Shower and toilets were great with plenty of hot water. The breakfast muffin was the best I've ever tasted and Johannes has plenty of stories from his extensive travels around the world.

Villa Ocean is a great place to stay in Gansbaai. We were made very welcome by Arnold, who helped us with information on diving with sharks and with directions of places to dine in town. Me and my friends stayed in two twin suites and found the rooms quite comfortable and the showers very good. The breakfast was very tasty and well prepared with scrambled eggs, bacon, bread, cheese, yoghurt, natural juice, .... Arnold was a great host, very friendly indeed, would stay again at the Villa Ocean.

The reasonable rates at this charming guest house are misleading - it's great ! Johannes has to be the top host. So welcoming and helpful..making us dinner reservations, offering us wine, making sure we were comfortable, setting up anti-mosquito thingy and cooking a yummy breakfast. Thank you ! We will be back.

Johannes was extremely welcoming and made us feel at home immediately. He gave great advice as to where we could eat in town (cheaply) - there are numerous options. The B&B itself is a 3 minute drive to the centre of Gansbaai. Clean, well presented room in a quirky home with real character.

Lovingly decorated bead and breakfast. Very good breakfast. Johannes is the best host you can imagine. He loves Meeting people. The B&B is his Hobby the guest will notice that. dont miss to go into the boathouse for dinner!
