On the Rocks B&B welcomes you to the peace and beauty of nature to relax and rejuvenate your body, soul and spirit. At On the Rocks you will experience friendly hospitality, glorious sunsets and a scrumptious breakfast. The guest house is situated on the beachfront of De Kelders, just before Gansbaai, and is excellently placed for whale-watching - from your patio, bed or even while you shower. Our rooms are individually styled and decorated to match your mood or personality and are equipped with all amenities for your comfort, including a private balcony overlooking Walker Bay. Whatever your choice, all rooms have sea views and their own private balcony. The rooms are equipped with a satellite TV, fridge, electronic safe, ceiling fan, hairdryer, clock radio, and tea and coffee tray. Fresh towels, shower gel and shampoo are also provided to tingle your senses. We pride ourselves in serving guests a full and hearty South African breakfast, either out on the patio or inside. Alternatively, why not let us pack you a picnic breakfast to enjoy at Stanfords Cove close by.

Best location for guests who love the sound of the sea. No road between the house an the sea. Good breakfast and nice hosts. A perfect stay when on the way along the shore. In Whale Season you can watch them from your bedroom.

Amazing views, friendly staff and will certainly return there . The area is filled with adventurous trails , and allot to do. Top top top beaches and perfect for family holidays. I would defiantly recommend staying here. Allot more to do in such a small town than what was expected . need a holiday after the holiday :)

We stayed for 2 nights to fit in with our planned shark dive. Sylvia was very helpful via mail before our visit and booked 2 wonderful restaurants for us. Both Sylvia and the rest of her family were lovely and very accommodating during our stay. The location is superb with the ocean not much over 50 metres from our bedroom. We didn't see any whales as we were a bit late in the season but just sitting on our veranda having a glass of wine and watching the ocean was wonderful. A fabulous couple of nights. Thank you.

Wow i liked the beach view,,,,it was wow for me because i like the view, you could watch the sunset, and the sea breeze, it was an awesome experience for me. iam planning for another trip next year, but this time around is going to be in Winter

We would like to stay at the ocean site and hoped to see some whales. And yes we did! It was great to have a view at the ocean and see the wildlife. Also the B&B was perfect. Nice rooms and very friendly staff.
