We stayed in the mountain chalet and left in less than 24hrs, even though we were booked for entire weekend. Floors are very dirty, no dishsoap or cloth. Upstairs the toilet and tub was full of brown stains. One towel for a 4 person chalet! The tap water is disgusting, smelled of sewage and brown. Double bed has seen better days and base was full of stains and tears. It is shock8ng that they charge people to stay in these chalets.

Chalet had lot of stuff missing, even the inventory list is out of date. Baboons broke into the place. Bring your own condements and dish wash soap. We enjoyed the hot water very nice, the Springs was very nice. We met the most wonderful people. We really wish the management can be decent and maintain the place and facilities properly. Surrounded by the beautiful animals

I don't know why people complain about the noise? it is not an old age home, please...! You are supposed to have lots of fun and there are so many to do all day and late afternoons......if you don't like the noise and music of others then go find yourself and a 5-star hotel. There you will pay for what you desire everything but real fun. So please remember next time mind the fun and not the noise.

We came here for a family camping weekend , although the place has got so much potential and very well located with nice views of the swartberg mountains and great hotwater pool swimms early mornings , we had a terrible experiece with neighbours barbaric behaviour with loud music till early morning hours , theres absolutely no etiquette for campers , loud music from day visitors is also spoiling the camping experiece , this could be changed just by implimenting no music rules like most camping grounds and resorts all over south africa .

It's a wonderful unpretentious venue. A place to chill out and do nothing with 5 large pools. One is indoors and currently being renovated. Bring your own food, braai grid, dishwasher liquid... so everything you need. There lots of cats, springbok and peacocks. Its nothing fancy, the shop is small and not always open. The countryside is beautiful and it's great for the soul.

Just visited for Easter weekend, was terrific. Kids enjoyed its so much. Def worth the drive. SPA Superette also has everything you need at your fingertips. Its a must visit please make your way to it

Bathroom water was a muddy pool. The outside pool is not clean. Inside pool not working. Inside baths not connected and not working. Please not need at all. No cleaning material to clean glasses or any cutlery. One star with 4 star price

I had great fun with my group of friends. There is however no TV, no WiFi or any entertainment other than the pools. Don't wear new bathing costumes thou....they will change to a muddy rusty shade from the mud, specially the lighter ones....otherwise a good budget option.

I have stayed quite a few times at the Calitzdorp Spa. But every time i get there the place deteriorates and looks worse than the last time. The prices has also gone up to such an extend that it compares to places with a much higher luxury rating. Must say my last visit will be most probably my very last visit

The pool chalets are within 30m of the different hot and cold pools. Lots of peacocks and springbok around, with a few stray cats too. The water is really hot, and early morning steamy swims are the best. Note that the main hot pool is usually drained and cleaned after weekends, so Tuesday mornings are not the best times to be there.
