We stopped in on an extremely cold wet morning in October to be met by a crackling fire and warm welcome from a young lady who never stopped trying to be helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our pub fare and also the Ploughman's platter that she had packed for us to take to our B&B for a light supper. Always such a good ambience, thank you again to our waitron, only sorry we do not remember your name. Fred & Jackie Hutchins

Recommended on a Sunday evening as one of the few places open in the area. Warm fire, good atmosphere. Adequate choices on the menu, good service from amusing and experienced waiter. Very average food on that night.

Wasn't sure if places like this still existed but they do and what a quaint place it was. The bar / dining room is a great area with a fantastic fire. Praises for the staff especially Jozzy behind the bar she was a gem and worked tirelessly to keep all the customers happy( well done) and the meals were all tasty. It must be good if the locals eat here as well. The let down was the rooms, although clean they are in need of upgrade especially the bathrooms, the male manager explained that it was a long slow process. The female manager could be a little more friendly.

Regular stopover stop when travelling to and from Johannesburg to Hoedspruit. Generally quieter than more popular spots on the main street. The fire is always going, summer or winter (Dullies is cold normally).

I have stayed here twice before many years ago - nothing has changed. It is like stepping back to a time when life was slower with few mod cons. The ambiance is what makes this country Inn appealing - but it could be so much more! The accommodation is basic. I mean comfortable and cosy yes, but ou tyd! It could be updated and still keep it's charm. Yes - there was a note apologising for the old sheets which were on order - but each room should at least have a shower option with HOT water for the early birds. We liked the bar with the fire glowing making it welcoming as always and it was buzzing with locals and visitors so it is popular and the food has always been good - so thumbs up there guys! The oxtail was super! The staff members were good and friendly too and know their
