Been to Dullstroom for many years but my first visit to this establishment. Kleintjie, our waitress was just awesome. So friendly and even had a quick chat to us. The food was absolutely delicous and this is definately worth the visit. Popped in again for a drink with mates. We sat in the residents lounge and it is so cosy and beautiful.

We were recommended to have dinner at the Dullstroom Inn and we were pleasantly surprised. Beautiful rooms with antique furniture greated us and we were seated in the pub. Great selection on the menu and the prices are very good. The food was excellent and the staff was great. Only the manager and one server on duty, at the start of Easter Weekend, and we still received perfect and prompt service. There was a fire going and nice music. What a great atmosphere!

On a cold Saturday night we returned for a fire side supper. The fire, going for 38 years, was list and the inside packed. One four seater table was vacant and we sat down for dinner. We shared a gammon as well as a plate of oxtail. Both dishes were heart, but what really impressed were the veggies – carrots & beans. The carrots must have been the most delicious carrots ever! Sweet, tender but still firm, not rich, just perfect. The French beans had some fried onion added, band what a delight. What a perfect satisfying fireside supper. The service was professional and friendly. Ideal for a warm dinner.

It wasn’t our first choice restaurant as we had gone to other restaurants but being a Sunday they were a closed. Dullstroom Inn was open and what a great evening we had. An interesting but enjoyable atmosphere which had the cosy small town effect. The food came in good time and was very tasty. It was great!

Have been back to 3 times for their homemade chicken pie and steak/kidney pies. Always get greeted by Kleintjie and she super host. Fire place been active for more than 30 years. Super cozy in the winter. Pub lunch menu good value for money. Only bathrooms need attention and smokers area smell very strong in non smoking area.
