Travellers' Choice
Dullstroom is located on the Panorama Route halfway between Johannesburg and Kruger National Park and is renowned for its breathtaking views. Cinzaco accommodation is a newly opened guesthouse in the centre of Dullstroom village. The accommodation is set in beautiful grounds in the heart of Dullstroom village, with lush lavender gardens and Japanese cherry blossom trees lining the short walk to nearby restaurants and pubs. The surrounding area of the Highlands Meander, a beautiful part of Mpumalanga, is noted for its breathtaking scenery, lakes, clear streams and trout fly fishing. Cinzaco Kanzan and Yoshino Guesthouse each respectively have nine and six non-self-catering rooms with entertainment areas and fireplace/braai on the outside patios. Cinzaco Ukon Self-Catering Units offers two self-catering chalets with their own fireplaces overlooking a tiny Blue Gum forest. Ideal for those that want a country feel but the convenience of being walking distance from shops and restaurants. The two self-catering units are pet friendly. No children under 18 years old.

We spent only one night at Cinzaco, on our way to Kruger, in one of their Chalets. The room featured a small wood-burning fireplace, and wood and firelighters were provided. The chalet also has a small patio.. The room was clean and comfy, but TVs are not provided. There is no restaurant, so no breakfast or breakfast packs are provided. Would we return? Probably yes. And yes, we would recommend the Chalets for an overnight stay.

We visited this top class establishment just as lock down opened up for cross border travel. We have been waiting months on end to have an opportunity to have a quick break from Covid & our stressful work environment. From the experience of the reservation right down to the their hospitality team meeting us & going above & beyond to make our stay with our parents a memorable one. They helped us even with bookings for dinner & offered to help us plan excursion's in the area. We can wait to return to support this amazing site. We will be back very soon & cant wait to explore the town and surrounding areas even more!

We stayed in Cinzaco for two nights, one of them was our first night in South Africa. We got such a warm welcome from Lourens and were so happy to arrive to a clean, quiet and beautiful room after our long flight. We liked the place so much that we decided to stay for another night on our way back from the Kruger. Kyle welcomed us on our second stay and was also such a great host!

We stayed in the separate units with a small but fully functional kitchen with a table and lounge with a stove fireplace to warm up the area. The bedroom is warm and comfortable for the cold Dullstroom evenings with electrical blankets and heaters. The unit had a large shower and overhead heated lamps to ensure the bathroom is warm it also has a modern design. It's a good unit for a weekend away and walking distance from the main street with all the shops and restaurants if the weather permits.

From booking at Cinzaco to departing the whole experience was beyond five star. Christiaan kept us updated of our booking, provided directions to Cinzaco, the communication and information was fantastic. On arrival we were taken to our room which was immaculate. The decor is modern and chic. It feels like home! The king bed is fantabalous the linnen and towels pristine. The room service was on point. We will be back for a weekend in the Yukon cottages. As we were leaving this morning Lourens brought us each a brekkie bag for the road. That is next level service. Little details such as a power socket to charge your phone/laptop inside the safe. A blue tooth speaker on the night stand. The quality soap and shampoo provided. The nuguni and sheep skins on the floor. A fan and a heater is provided inside the room. These are just a few of the many details that make an stay at Cinzaco totally awesome.
