It’s a nice place for a 1-night stop during the trip from Johannesburg to KZN, located close to N2, petrol station, supermarkets and banks.
There is a beautiful garden, our room was quite big with a big bed but the toilet (that is big too) is not completely closed from the room, so it can be ok if you are travelling as a couple but less pleasant in other cases.
Breakfast is good, with cereals, muffins and hot English breakfast.
We didn’t like that the manager sent the chambermaids to our room to start cleaning when we went to P’nP for a quick shopping before leaving; we were informed in advance about it but we were told they should only have removed the linen to wash it, instead we found all our bags moved and in a mess. If check-out is at 10 a.m. I’d like to be free to use my room until that time.

Reception is friendly, the room is spacious, clean and contains everything you need. Breakfast is very good, but the free lunch pack was excellent. More than you could eat all day! Absolute great value for money. Dont go anywhere else!

A wonderful lodge which is neat and clean. Was so nice to step in to a cold room on a Hot day. Friendly staff. Rooms are neat and breakfast is excellent. The mozzies is was only thing one can complain about but atleast there was doom to sort them out. Will stay over again.

Arrived at Aber Jetz Guesthouse. Absolutely phenomenal guesthouse. Clean, safe and beautifully presented and run by a very friendly warm and welcoming lady. Rooms are great, lots of effort gone in. Comfortable stay, great breakfast and attention to detail.

Had a great stay. Will definitely be back! Come stay over in Pongola and only choose Aber Jetz!

We stayed here for 1 night on the way from Kruger National Park to St. Lucia on the Elephant Coast.
Our room was very clean and artistically done.
Regina, the owner was very friendly and helpful.
Perfect place for a stopover or a longer stay. Breakfast was very nice & Regina went out of her way to make something vegetarian for us.
As we reached at around 8 p.m., Regina suggested that we rush to the restaurant at the Pongola Country Lodge for dinner. We had stuffed potato & a pizza: both were excellent (we're vegetarians).

Overall, we would highly recommended staying at the Aber Jetz Guesthouse.

Even though we were booked into a B+B we were pleasantly surprised with the well equiped quarters As it was extremely hot we were most grateful for the use of the freezers for some frozen food and ice packs Due to the drought there was a slight water problem at bath time for the children. However it was rectified as soon as we mentioned it to the management. thank you
