Wow what an amazing experience. The team was so welcoming and provided exceptional service, from Abel to Olivia, to Greg the game ranger, Pinky, Isaac and Innocent (our meal servers), Clementine (The spider whisperer) & Irene - we really had a 5 star experience. The resort was amazing, beautiful rooms (we had the rooms with the plunge pools) and a beautiful rustic bush setting. The food was amazing and nothing was too much for them. We had a bit of a spider problem to which Clementine came to help and then they installed mosquito nets so that we could sleep more peacefully and securely. If you are looking for a family friendly Safari Lodge or even a Safari Lodge in general, go to Madikwe Safari Lodge (Lelapa). They have the best team in any Lodge we ever experienced. The Rangers are such nice people an their knowledge about nature and it's animals is outstanding. The main Lodge is very beautiful. Same thing about the Rooms, they are very nice and the terrace for each room is perfect for relaxing. The Lodge has a large pool that is about 15 meters away from a big water hole where animals will come by regularly. Food is good as well and kindly presented by the lovely staff.

I would recommend Madikwe Safari Lodge to anyone who is looking for a luxury bush experience, local and overseas visitors. The food is out of this world and a new fresh menu is provided every. No stone is left unturned to ensure your 5 start holiday is a success. Staff are helpful at all times and will assist at anytime, day or night. Field guides are knowledgeable and professional with a deep understanding of the area they work in and respect for all creates big and small.

We have just stayed at this superb all inclusive lodge in Madikwe game Reserve, near the Botswana border. They have certainly exceeded all of our expectations that were high to begin with . The staff has provided to us one of the best possible services ever, their attention to detail is certainly remarkable. Kudos to our chef Jack for his excellent international dishes served during our stay. Kudos as well to our manager Aubrey, our gracious servers Beauty and Maria , lodge staff that certainly exceeded the true meaning of hospitality service. Same goes to our very personable guide Greg for his wildlife knowledge and for going always the extra mile in all safari tours provided to us during our stay. Excellent overall service. Highly recommended.
