We stayed in september 2021, and it was our second visit to Molori. The lodge is stunning and maintained to high standard. The staff are all welcoming and very professional, it's the right balance between being attentive without crowding you. nothing is too much trouble. we travelled with twins who are 8 years old. The flexibility offered by the lodge with regards to food times and what they could do for the kids was fantastic, and certainly helped us parents to relax.
The lodge moves your breakfast lunch and dinner location each time to a different location within the lodge, and so it gives you a chance to experience all the different view points, which we enjoyed. You also feel like you are the only people there and it makes for a relaxing calm atmosphere. The hide is spectacular and we saw some great close ups of many types of animals from the hide, whilst relaxing on the sofas and enjoying a gin. The chef talks to you daily about meals and times and great care is taken in getting it right, something we appreciated.
Lucky was our driver and he is simply the best. A complete professional, great knowledge and again has perfected the balance of telling you enough without talking non stop. He was outstanding with engaging the kids too and we all were so pleased to have him with us each day. I would highly recommend Molori Safari, a wonderful group of people working hard to get it right.

There are truly no words to adequately capture our experience and fantastic stay at Molori. Please believe all of the five-star reviews here, they are not exaggerating. Molori and the staff (Marc-the amazing head chef; Herman-the thoughtful head butler; Lucky our AMAZINGLY talented driver and tracker; and the GM) all went out of their way to make our stay memorable. I feel bad naming names because everyone, from the staff who cleaned our terrace and pool to the massage therapist, were simply next level when it came to accommodating and anticipating our every need. I cannot wait to return in a few years as it was worth every penny and we sincerely miss the casual conversations we had with our new friends overlooking the waterhole or at the beautiful bar. Also, the art throughout the lodge is curated with so much effort. It all still feels like a dream (which is why this review is so rambly, apologies). Anyhow, nothing is too much to ask for and the drives were incredible to say the least, we tracked the super 7 and even got a photo of the elusive leopard. Lastly, if you get a chance to hear a lion roar it will stick with you forever, I still can feel the chills from the experience. Wow.

Wow! Wow! Wow! This was truly my first impression of this unique and one of a kind 6 star lodge in the Madikwe region.

Molori is perfectly located in the North of the Madikwe Game Reserve with spectacular views.

As we entered the lodge we received a wonderful and cheerful meet and greet from the Molori Family.

There is an open plan relaxing lounge | dining and bar area as well as a fine dining seating area in the main lodge.

A lovely outdoor pool overlooking the spectacular views of the mountains and watering hole. The lodge has a tranquil and serene spa and there is a great outdoor boma area and various outdoor relaxing dining areas to enjoy any meal of the day.

Molori has one of the best hideouts that I have seen located next to the watering hole and with picturesque sunsets .

We had a wonderful bush dinner experience which was set up beautifully in the bush. The cuisine was lovely and the chef caters to all your requirements.

Now for the main highlight of our stay. The Presidential Suite!!! This is truly a Wow factor at the Lodge and we are extremely grateful to have experienced staying in the Presidential Suite.

It is exquisite and opulent in every aspect.

From the beautifully decorated bedroom to the bathrooms | spacious and luxurious walk in lounge area with great views| walk in closet | huge outdoor pool and jacuzzi | relaxing sun beds | swing lounger | outdoor and indoor showers | private dining area and private study and workstation with state of the art technology.

It is exclusivity at its best with exquisite decor topped with outstanding service!

It is truly a Wonder in Madikwe and I would like to say a special Thank You to Lucky | Jerry and Isaac for taking exceptional care of us and creating one of the most memorable and unforgettable experiences for us.
And Thank you to Berdine the excellent reservationist who is simply outstanding and a pleasure to deal with.

What an experience and I highly highly recommend all travellers to explore and experience Molori Safari Lodge!

I do not think this box is big enough to really share how amazing this experience was. We were slightly let down by our driver (it took 7 hours to get from JHB to the lodge) but on arrival we were met by Lynette she completely took care of us and put us at ease straight away as it was late evening when we arrived she was amazing.

The food was out of this world, I don't think there was a moment that I was actually hungry!

The bedroom was amazing, there is not another word for it, minus the scorpion outside our door, it was breathtaking waking up to see the everything each morning.

The game drive - the first drive we went on with Lucky and my god we were lucky, we saw a kill (!!) up close and personal, we stalked lioness introducing her cubs to a pride, we saw so many giraffes and zebra and lions and rhino and elephants! I was absolutely blown away.

We did a bush walk, Lucky was completely reassuring the whole time about how to behave out of the vehicle etc, he prepared us with what to do should we come face to face with any big animals and we did, a Lion!! that was increddible.

Although there were another honeymooning couple and a small family, we felt like the only people there, nothing was too much trouble, we were always greeted by name and just so welcome!

I for one am absolutely desperate to come back - The smell of the reserve is the most intoxicating smell, it is almost addictive! absolutely work the 5am wake up call.

Molori - thank you so much for giving us the most memorable experience and truly an experience of a lifetime.

Wonderful lodge with every detail taken care of from arrival to the very end of our stay. Fantastic staff and great service. The food was delicious, the setting was so relaxing and beautiful. The safari experience, especially as hosted by Molori River Lodge, is simply amazing, delightful, enlightening, and unforgettable. They offered us luxury in a stark wilderness. No comfort was overlooked. From the initial welcome to the daily smiles and greetings to the culinary offerings to the attentive assistance. Would highly recommend it to anyone wanting an authentic bush experience. Would recommend at least three nights to take full advantage of what is on offer.

We have been to Molori twice -we went with friends and loved it so much we had to bring our “adult” kids. We travel extensively and this place is our absolute favorite! The service is above any expectation. The meals were specially crafted. My daughter is a pescatarian and they completely accommodated her special requests. The photo safaris were fun and totally engaging. We will definitely be back again!

We visited here over Christmas and it’s truly a beautiful property however we felt like just another guest. The team did nothing wrong but it just didn’t feel personal to us.
Some people like that kind of service, we prefer connecting. The reason why I only gave an average rating is the food. Again nothing was wrong with it but it just felt really simple for the price you pay, I would have just expected more than wraps and chips. The vegetarian options were very limited. Rooms are beautiful and the game drives were great too.

What an experience! Starting with the greeting ( staff singed ) and after that the departments introduced themselves.
We had great game drives with Lucky and he also prepared a breakfast in the bush as well as apero drinks .
Every meal was perfect and when we asked how to prepare a chakalaka : they organized a cooking class !

Everyone was so friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the stay very much !

Molori Safari Lodge truly is a dream in the African wilderness. We stayed in the Molelo Presidential Suite, one of the most palatial safari suites we've ever seen. It had a breath-taking outdoor deck with a private infinity pool, jacuzzi and swing bed. I loved the underground hide from where we had close-up views of the wildlife drinking at the waterhole. The stargazing through the powerful telescope was amazing too, and so were the game drives. See my detailed review on my blog. Link in profile.
