Just had best three days ever on holiday at eagles nest lodge shamwari - staff very attentive without being overwhelming, very high spec throughout and the ranger - Abel extremely knowledgable friendly and funny !- must go for any reason not just animals!

Hi, on our visit for 4 days unfortunately we didn’t see a cheetah but other guests with other rangers did. Just luck on the day sometimes. The rangers try hard though.

Sorry, I have to disagree. 100US$ is not over-tipping. Most of the people we were with tipped 500ZAR per day per couple. That is approx 15% more than the 100US$. The rangers work very hard with unsociable hours and they... More
