We stayed 3 nights in this property and what a wonderful experience it all was! The stay was awesome with good personalised attention by one and all. Catherine and Ryno (the managers) made us feel at home with their courteous service. The safaris were the highlight of the stay with us spotting the Big 5 by our 3rd safari. Gideon,...

We've been there last February (2017) for four nights. We've traveled with our daughter with only six years old and it was amazing how they are excepcional hosts. From the reception crew, ranger, tracker, and the owners. Everybody were focused on providing the best experience ever. The game drivers are awesome, we did it twice a day, one in the...

Just home from 4 incredible days at Kambaku. Catherine and Ryno lead a fabulous team of people sincerely invested in sharing their magnificent region of Africa and providing exemplary and authentic service. The game drives, the food, the accommodation, but most of all the atmosphere made our time there exceedingly special. I am already planning how to get back there....

I visited Kambaku for the third time having previously been there in 2015 and 2013. This time I visited with my son. Some of the staff had changed but the ethos and the atmosphere remained the same. We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed the relaxed hospitality, the little surprises ( dinner in the bush) and fantastic sightings. Gideon was...

We arrived at Kambaku Safari Lodge in the afternoon, just in time for the afternoon game drive. We were introduced to our ranger/tracker team as we climbed into our vehicle and departed for our Timbavati safari. As dusk approached we found ourselves only yards away from a sleeping leopard; we observed as she awoke, yawned, stretched and slowly walked into...

Where to begin? Two of us booked into a three night stay in April (arranged through krugerpark.com as travelling independently) - our priorities were 1: game viewing and 2: as authentic experience as possible in a small lodge. We were more than thrilled .... arriving midday we were offered a light lunch before the substantial afternoon tea and our first...

Our ranger and tracker were amazing! The food was all very good...they were good about serving food that people from anywhere could easily eat. (We were a group of Americans and there was a German family and a British couple at the lodge during our stay and everyone seemed to enjoy the food). The accommodations were not luxury, but were...
