Beautiful lodge on a closed camp within a private reserve inside Kruger National Park. The staff was beyond excellent! Food, service, etc. all top notch, especially considering you're out in the middle of the bush. Rooms were large and had every amenity you could need and then some. Loved our time there and would go back anytime!

Our family of 6, including 4 adults, our 15-year-old son and 5-yer-old granddaughter, had a spectacular 4-day stay at this comfortable, well designed lodge. The staff is exceptional, not just helpful and accommodating, but genuinely interested in their guests. We enjoyed chatting with them during brunch and dinner and everyone took a special interest in our granddaughter. Our guide, Julius, and tracker, Moses, were simply marvelous telling us all about the wide variety of animals we found on the beautiful Timbavati Reserve. They truly became members of our family with their knowledge, humor, and tenacious search for animals, such as the cheetah they found nestled off-road in the bush and returning to a leopard's kill after dark to watch the leopard climb the tree to eat. Highly recommend Kambaku for a fantastic overall experience.

I can't say enough good things about Kambaku Safari Lodge. We had a wonderful vacation. They went out of their way to ensure our every need was met. The staff are incredibly generous with their time and very welcoming to families and kids. The game rides were amazing and informative. The food and facilities are lovely. I highly recommend Kambaku, especially for families, if you are looking for a great safari experience.

The rooms at the lodge are very comfortable and well equipped and are set around a lovely garden area with a large water hole that attracts animals. When I was there a heard of elephants stopped for a drink. The staff at the lodge cannot do enough for you and the guide and tracker (Gideon & Eric) we had were very good. We went out each day for an early morning and afternoon/evening safari and managed to see some great animals each time.

We were blessed to spend two nights in this wonderful private lodge. A cozy place to stay, every wish was fulfilled by the friendly staff. Food was just delicious. Every single game drive was an adventure, the field guides full of knowledge. We really want to come back and stay longer!
