My family and I just returned from a 4 night stay at &Beyond Ngala! The lodge and service was absolute first class. We saw the Big5 and then some… it was the most exhilarating adventure full of heart racing animal tracking, exploring and getting up close and person with some of the worlds most amazing animals in the wild! We will never forget enjoying sundowners while hearing lions roar in the distance! Special mention to our Tracker, Tom and our Ranger Tyran - they were a huge part of our amazing experience! Very family friendly! The food and drinks included was exceptional, easily 5 Star! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I can not say enough great things about &Beyond Ngala. It was the most incredible trip all thanks to the staff. From handwritten notes to surprises in our room, & a special stop in the bush to celebrate our honeymoon… it was spectacular! The game drives and the sightseeing were amazing!! I have never had a more warming experience with people who treat you like family. Special thanks to Kelly/Given, Noel, and Tiffany – some of the best people I have ever met. The animals, service, staff, accommodations all were 11/10.

Wow, what an amazing time. We traveled as 4, my parents (aged 60) and my wife and I (age 30ish). First off.... all of the employees were fantastic. Friendly, knowledgeable, and went way above our expectations. The rooms were very clean, the food was solid, and the layout of the camp was fantastic. Our tour guide was Trico, and tracker Aubrey. They both did an incredible job. Driving us around, we were able to see the two white lions and their pride, zebras, giraffes, elephants (and several babies of multiple species) - and had a blast while doing it. Trico did an outstanding job answering our many questions, and all with a smile on his face. The several mangers we interacted with, Matt, Saskia, and Petunia also were simply a pleasure to talk with. This is how customer service is done. 10/10 experience - would recommend.

We have just returned from our time at Ngala Lodge. The accomodation was excellent but it is the staff that really make the difference. Nothing was too much. We loved the outdoor shower and slept wonderfully. The safari drives each day were exceptional. We were on an Oryx Photo Tour with the outstanding Penny Robartes who made sure we came home with not just improved skills and knowledge on photography but some great photos! Our guide Barney and tracker Harold made sure we got some great experiences with the white lions, cheetah and other animals - an unforgettable experience. The elephants coming to drink from the pool at lunch time was special as was the time with the wild dogs. Our butler Norman was always on hand to assist us in whatever we needed. Other staff at the lodge - Matt, Saskia, Petunia and all the others were always available and helpful with whatever was needed. Already missing sightings, breakfast and sundowners while on game drives. A truly outstanding experience.

From start to finish this was the trip of a lifetime. Going on safari here was like nothing else. We didn't have the best weather, but Barney our ranger and Sunday our tracker made it so memorable for our family. We saw so many animals up close and learned so much. We also got exceptional service from Tussan and Mike. The accommodations are amazing, I will miss the outdoor shower and bath. The food was incredible and plentiful and the sundowner cocktails in the bush will never be forgotten. Having a port on our terrace each night was the perfect way to end each day.

We have just returned from our 4 night safari at Ngala lodge. We saw all the big 5 and then some. Our guide Ruel had a jokey personality but a completely professional approach to the job that was the perfect fit for us. It was our 5th safari so we are not novices but Ruel coaxed renewed enthusiasm from us, along with tracker Harold. We often left early for game drives and there is no set duration if there is something special to watch. The highlight was the huge Birmingham pride. There were up to 15 lion gathered together while we were there including 2 extremely rare (in the wild) white lions. Thanks also to our butler Foster, a dignified, reserved and lovely man who looked after us superbly when we were not out on a drive. In fact the whole team at Ngala go out of their way to make you feel part of their family, nothing is too much trouble in the beautiful camp with excellent facilities including a spectacular pool (check out the photos left by others). Final words for Ruel and Harold who make luxurious "choccamoccarula" drinks for the morning break and offer up special snacks and drinks for the sundowner stop amid twinkly lights. Thank-you very much for a spectacular time, my wife cried when we left! Martyn & Lori

We stayed for 3 nights after visiting another &Beyond property and wow were we blown away... We were the only guests at the lodge for our entire stay and did they go above and beyond! Our butler Colly was the sweetest and knew our routine every day for mealtimes and even set up breakfast on our porch every morning! We thoroughly enjoyed getting to know him as well as Mike the security guard. What a sweetheart! Our ranger was Amy and our tracker was Tonight. Both of them were just superb and they make the best team. Being the only guests, Amy would always try her best to find exactly what we wanted to see each drive. We loved our time with both of them and left feeling like we had made great friends. Every single member of the staff goes out of there way to get to know you and make you feel like royalty. The lodge itself is just gorgeous and we got a surprise on our first day within 10 minutes of getting settled in, we saw a herd of elephants with a precious little baby by the pool! We we absolutely be back and cannot recommend this lodge enough to everyone!

Magical place; warm and knowledgeable people; unbelievable food. We came for a big birthday and the team couldn’t have made it more special. We are already planning a return. The safari drives are spectacular and watching guides Marcus and Tonight in action is quite something. Thank you so much N’gala team. We will be back as soon as we can.

Wow, this was our very first safari experience and it did not disappoint! My husband and I were so excited to finally be on our honeymoon in South Africa. From the moment we arrived, the service was incredible. The warm/cold towels when arriving and after game drives, The welcome back drinks ready for you, it all made it very special. We loved our room (21), it felt like one of the more private rooms on the property. I loved the bathtub and outdoor shower ! We loved our guide Mac. You can really tell he loves being a guide and would get just as excited as us when there was a good wildlife find. We are able to see so many elephants, giraffes, rhino, lions (even the rare white lion ), hippos, hyenas, and on our last game drive we saw the elusive leopard! There were two other couples that were on our game drives with us that we became friends with that made the safari experience even more fun. During the morning and evening game drives you make a stop in the bush for some drinks and snacks. Matt who I believe is the assistant manager, always made sure to check in with us to see how are day was going and if we had everything we needed. A huge highlight of our stay was seeing over 20 elephants including a few babies coming up to the lodge pool for a drink! We really enjoyed our first safari experience as Ngala and hope to return someday. Unfortunately we mostly had cloudy and rainy weather during our stay so no stars or sunsets but a big plus is that we were not hot during the game drives. They provide ponchos to wear and also provide amazing binoculars to use as well.
