Even if you’ve never been there before you feel like coming home to good friends. We stayed for 4 nights at this really amazing place. The chalets were perfect with large bedroom and 2(!) bathrooms, one with a bathtub and the other with a shower. The staff was always there with a smile whenever you needed some help. The meals were excellent, not only that they were delicious, but they were also presented like in a 5-star-restaurant. The variety of food at ‘High Tea’-time was overwhelming. To serve the dinner each evening at a different place was a brilliant idea. The place with the waterhole which was during day and night frequented by animals – even by a leopard – is exactly what you are looking for when thinking about an African safari lodge! We really felt at home during those days and it will definitely be a favourite address for our next stay in “Greater Kruger” NP.

The best of the best!!. Had 3 fab days here with the family. Cannot praise this lodge enough Jamie and Siobhan and whole crew were amazing with the game drives and the food served was exceptional!. They went above and beyond with service and attention to detail and thoughtful touches. Jamie showed his passion on the game drives and really appreciate making our family feel safe, special and excited with the big 5 viewings!. Very much look forward to being back soon!! Thankyou Nzumba.

Klaseri Camps - Nzumba is the ULTIMATE in safari travel. My wife and I would give Nzumba 10 stars out of 5 if we could. It all begins with leadership: Siobhan and Jaime are wonderful hosts and do not comprehend the words "no or it can't be done." They manage the lodge and accommodate your request(s), period. My wife and I have dietary restrictions - not a problem - the excellent chef took care of our needs. Jaime was also our tour guide and he was relentless in ensuring we saw as many animals as possible - simply REMARKABLE adventures. Their team is wonderful as well. Matt, Megan, Peter, and all of the kitchen staff are so attentive to the needs of their guests. The accommodations are beautiful and a great place to rest until your next safari outing. Stop looking for second best - this is the Camp you want to go to for an exhilarating safari experience.

We stayed at Nzumba lodge for three nights and three days. Three fantastic breakfasts, high teas, sundowners and dinners. We saw the big 5 on our three days and had multiple Leopard sightings. There staff were lovely. Don, Leanne, Megan, Matt and Peter and all to cooks especially Knowledge. Great location by the waterhole. Rooms were fantastic- particularly the heated mattress! Very relaxed experience and we were made to feel like we were part of the family even though we had a short stay. We had a birthday whilst we were there and the staff did everything to make it a special day, It is a very special place and we will definitely go back again.

This was our 3rd visit to Nzumba and we wasn’t disappointed. The accommodation and food is awesome and the Game Drives were exceptional. We took a couple of our friends and it was their 1st visit to South Africa and we saw the Big 5 plus many other unique sightings. A couple of the highlights being a large pack of Wild Dogs, a family of 4 Leopard, beautiful male Lion pair, Elephants, White Rhino and more. We’d go back tomorrow if we could, what an awesome place to stay, with the Watering Hole just the other side of the fence and always the excitement of what May visit and when. The staff always go the extra mile to ensure your stay is perfect and spring a few surprises now and again by setting up breakfast and coffee tasting in the bush. Thanks Nzumba, we’ll be back.

Where to even start ... Staying at Klaserie Camps Nzumba over Christmas was one of the best experiences my family and I have had to date! It started months prior our arrival with Lee-Anne, who was a pleasure to deal with and was so prompt, courteous and professional in organising our trip with them. From the beginning through to the end, Lee-Anne made sure our trip was a success, touching base even when she was away on her own holidays! Arriving at the reserve, we were warmly greeted by Siobhan, Jaime, and the rest of the staff, all smiles on their faces which never left the whole time we were there! Each member of staff, from the housekeepers to the chef were amazing and so professional. Kudos to the chef, never had food like it in my life! The staff went over and beyond to cater for one of our party having a gluten intolerance, as they made individual dishes for her for every meal. Siobhan and Jaime were there whenever we needed them, from making sure our drinks were never empty, to checking our rooms every night so that there were no unwanted guests...! Which leads me to the game drives with Jaime and Peter - couldnt have asked for more, from night time drives with lions, leopards and elephants, drinking g&t's along the Olifants river, to learning about the different species of trees, plants and different wildlife. Peter, our tracker, was great and he added hugely to our experience out on the drives. Kudos to both for managing to put up with us the whole time but also keeping us entertained and laughing the whole time! The camp itself lived up to everything and more; the overall setup, the pool and lodges overlooking the watering hole, and the cleanliness and housekeeping was amazing! Its often the little details and thoughtfulness that mean the most and the staff at Nzumba went all out! In particular as we sat down to our Christmas Day breakfast, and were presented with such thoughtful gifts from their own gift shop they have on site. Thank you so much! Its hard to put into words the experience we had here but the memories will last a lifetime and we look forward to building on them when we return in the hopefully not so distant future! Thank you Lee-Anne, Siobhan, Jaime, Peter, Chef and the rest of the staff for a lekker Christmas!

On our arrival Siobhan&Jaime were at the entrance of the camp to greet us and made us feel confortable from the very start! The place is absolutely amazing really well kept everything was neat and perfect! The rooms are really beautiful ,with a large bathroom and a nice colonial style bed and room forniture! We had 2 game drives a day and in our 3 days of stay we managed to see: Leopards with pray, a nice heard of Elephants drinkinking:a big pride of lions(12) , Hippo, kudus ,Gnala,Impala, warthogs etc. Jaime was an excellent guide and it showed all his passions for his work! Also the tracker( forgive me for my bad memory I cannot recall his name!) did a great work spotting some Lioness traces hidden in the bush and a leopard is well! The food is an amazing experience there , everyday something different and delicious the Chef's did an amazing job! Not just the quality of the meats and vegetable were excellent ! But the way they were cooked and presented could compare with the finest gourmet restaurants in South Africa! We were really impressed by that! We were absolutely "pampered" by Siobhan and Jaime, always there with a smile ! I can say without any doubt that this was the most emotional experience we had in South Africa! And if we will ever be around again we will definately return to this camp which we personally think is really great, great value for your money!

I had the pleasure to visit Numb Camp in July 22 for a week. It was such a great experience. The Bungalows in the Camp are amazing and very clean. The staff is super friendly and absolutely lovely. Furthermore, we had unforgettable wildlife visits at the waterhole nearly daily.

We stayed at Nzumba which is one of the lodges in the Klaserie reserve. We were on our honeymoon and stayed here for 3 nights, but I must say I could easily have stayed here for a lot longer. Everything, from the hosts Jaime and Siobhan, the food, the accommodation and the stunning view across the watering hole was simply perfect. It’s hard putting into words how amazing this place is as it needs to be experienced first hand. Jaime and Siobhan made us feel like friends right from the start, the game drives were fabulous, then coming back to probably some of the best food we’ve ever eaten prepared by Alex, the smiliest chef ever, was just brilliant. We then relaxed around the pool on sunbeds overlooking the watering hole, to see elephants, warthogs, giraffes, various birds and antelopes etc just wandering on down for a drink or to roll in the mud. My husband is gluten intolerant and he was catered for better here than in the uk. Alex even made gluten free rolls for him, how I have no idea but it was incredible! 5 stars isn’t enough for Nzumba as it deserves a 1000, we left here with heavy hearts and won’t hesitate to come back. Definitely a place where you arrive as customers and leave as friends.

What an amazing experience ,fabulous room with his and her bathrooms , perfect for those early starts .Wonderful setting overlooks the waterhole which you can look over when eating or relaxing between drives. We had a magical time here and felt really part of the family, I can really recommend them one day the game wasn't as plentiful (windy) but we had the honour of watching a newly born elephant work out how to use its legs which was a priceless experience. Oh and the best risks are here ! We would be delighted to return.
