Personally this was the exact holiday I needed to diffuse from work. In terms of the safari, our guides were incredible and so knowledgeable, I learned so much. Every game drive involved a variety of sightings. The highlight was certainly watching a pride of lions hunt impala's. In regards to the lodge itself, service was 10/10, all the staff were so kind and accommodating. The food was top-notch and involved a nice variety of meals. We had most of our meals on the raised deck which is above a river and looks out miles & miles of the reserve, which makes for fun game sightings between drives.

Property's Favourite Review
Klaserie drift Masiva was our choice for our weeknded away with friends. Apone arrival Prudence the lovely front of house lady welcomed us with a beutiful smile and warm welcome. Bags were taken to the relevant rooms and we were just in time to sit down for one of many delicious meals prepared by Chef JB who also was so friendly and welcoming. Drinks were served by our kind butleress Sphiwe who was at our call every min of the day. Enjoyed cocktails and beers next to the pool and what a treat it was. Beutiful sun sets and sun rises and the game drives were such a pleasure with Mat our Guid. We were spoilt with our sightings and was some of the highlights of our getaway Our room the River room was incredible. Absoulout luxury it was. Beutiful ambiance in the rooms lovely bath indoor shower and out door shower. All the staff were so professional and kind and was an absolute please to have spent our weekend away at Klaserie drift.

Brenda warmly welcomed us after a long drive from Johannesburg and from that moment on it was five star service all the way. We were introduced to all staff members who treated us as long term friends even though we had just met. We were rewarded with special sightings from the first game drive until the last one and I left with many treasured memories captured through my lens. On one occasion I had to use my wide angle lens to get all 22 lions into a single frame ! With guests limited to six per vehicle, everybody had a window seat and our guide Nick kept the conversation interesting with numerous explanations and interpretations of what we were seeing. Meals were expertly prepared by Chef JB and the meal and drinks service was always warm and friendly from Sphiwe, Khutso and Brian. The camp has excellent views over the Klaserie river and we watched elephant drinking in the river whilst we cooled off in the swimming pool from above. We were treated to a great lightning show over the river whilst the stars shone brightly directly above us. Highly recommended

Words are not sufficient to describe the truly spectacular and magical holiday we had at Misava. It was perfect in every sense - from the quirky, funny, very knowledgeable Matt who was our guide who led us to unbelievable animal sightings and had us laughing all the way; to Pru and Brenda at the front of house for whom no request was too much; to the butlers who served with daily smiles and then JB, the chef! Suffice to say we are all rounder after his wonderful food. The river suites are truly sublime and you can have a bath or outdoor shower whilst watching the Ellies drinking in the Klasserie River below. I cannot recommend this place highly enough and it truly is THE PLACE to go on Safari. It is heaven on earth. Thank you, thank you Matt, Pru, Brenda, JB and the whole team for making our family holiday a once in a lifetime experience!

Where do we begin? It's 5-star all around. It was easily one of the most special "vibes" of any lodge we've stayed. The grounds, gardens, pool, and rooms were just so hip. The entire staff was special, from our booking with Jessica, to Prudence checking us in with Brenda at the front, to Nick and Emily (dynamic duo guide superheroes!), to the best butlers around Khutso and Tsakani. And JB the chef, some of the most incredible food we've ever had traveling. Not to mention the kids club each day where Emily would spend an hour with our daughters so we could catch up on sleep. Really can't say enough about this place. We were sad to leave and will recommend it highly!
