This lodge is perfectly situated a few hundred meters from the Olifants river. We stayed a week and saw almost all of the big 5. The lodge feels modern and clean but with an African twist. The road to the lodge is very bumpy so I recommend a high clearance car. I can definitely recommend it and would like to revisit it some day.

I thought it would be good to review this after a long time. I have no idea still operational, but I remember my stay was very good. Situated on the banks of the Olifants River, it is a great location! It is in the middle of the bush and just what I needed at the time for a relaxing 3 days. The self catering unit was well equipped. The road at the time was very bad and I recommend a vehicle with high ground clearance. The stay was excellent and I need to return for a revisit.
